11. this is the interior.... got ladies dressed in white and face being masked and danced on platforms. Some eerie dolls were hanging from the ceiling... hmm, very refreshing and suffocating atmosphere.... *cough* very uncomfortable.

10. We went Zouk at night. It's 12 plus in the night liao lor... ard that time lar...

7.After we visited the Twin towers, we took Mrt to visit other parts of KL. Then we see alot of the double A advertisement posters ard. We decided to take with them...

On that saturday, we went to KLCC to visit the Twin Towers... so tall hor....we were going up to that sky bridge later.

UM Day 18 - 28th May “ZOUK”

Today is our so call free day which we would be taken to see some important sites in KL. Early in the morning, I woke up at abt 8am and felt so shagged cos I watched Star Wars dvd until 2 plus after writing my yesterday’s blog. Nottie me.

We went to the Twin Towers’ sky bridge but the tickets we got were 2:15pm slot, so we went to look ard KL of many temples etc by our lecturer Mr Widodo. Abt 1, we headed back to twin towers (in KLCC). Wah kaoz, travel fares alone can make us broke fast lor. We took a lot of photos of the twin tower exhibition and when we were at the sky bridge. Shiok to look far down below us. Trees and roads become so tiny like the models I made. After this, we felt so tired while elita felt sick. So we decided not to go to the last station and took cab back to hostel. Many of us slept until 7 plus to go down to the canteen for dinner. We decided that at 10pm, we’ll leave for zouk!

Me, elita, rac and lav watched Robots dvd to pass the time but the disc cannot be read halfwards. We chat abit and finally at 10, we were so excited… den the guys “poured water on the blankets” and said they didn’t want to go. So rac and elita went to persuade them and they succeeded!!! So at abt 11 plus, we all managed to set off to Zouk together. Wah, not bad sia….alot of ppl.

At first I went in, my heart cannot take the stomping vibration of the beat…. Den we drank some alcoholic stuff that were not that strong, at least for the gals. Bo bian, I was thirsty so drink lor… I didn’t drink a lot too.

Later rac pulled all of us to the dance floor… and we were all dancing…. We became like another person. For me, I can feel that my chaotic side has taken over me…. Hhaha, ok lar, I meant that I am daring enuff to dance too…Anyway this is the 2nd time I dance. First was when we had prom night in JC2. After the whole thing, our ears were slightly deaf, voice almost gone too, legs are aching… haiz… going to such places is very very harmful to our health manz….
Johnny was drunk when we waited for taxi to go back. He asked the uncle to dance with him if the uncle gave discount for the taxi fares. Anyway, in the end of our bargain, we got a price at 18 RM. By the time we reached our hostel, it was abt 4 plus am. Some of us went to sleep without bathing lor, but me and few others still bathe with the freezing cold water. Since my hair was so wet, I did some laundry: wash my jeans! Hey my first time ok! And so proud of it after I washed and hung it to dry…. Heehee~ proud of myself. I came back from washing to blog this… but dozed off. I woke up again at 6:30am on my table, so decided to climb to bed and sleep til the next morn…. Wat a day….I think I will post the zouk photos next time.

UM Day 17 - 27th May

Today I decided to do much work in studio but then suddenly some ppl realised today is the first day of the movie Madagascar, so many of us went to buy tickets. All 9 plus and 11 plus tickets were not enuff as we had 32 ppl watching. So finally the other grp of ppl who went to a further shopping complex found seats but at 5:10pm. Ok, so that means we cannot do much work for today liao. Me, elita and rachelle and 3 other UM students walked ard in Mid-Valley shopping centre and looked at this huge pet shop. We were all fascinated by the cute little hamsters like running furballs. I took a few videoclips of them, so next time can show u all. Damn cute! There are squirrels too, and oh man, look at the way they hold food on their both hands and nibbled on it, it is soooo adorable. So ard 3pm, we had this wonderful lunch at this HongKong restaurant called Kim Gary Restaurant. I dunno if Jov heard abt this one. We tried their cheese lunch set. I had chicken chop with cheese on top of my rice and some sweet corn. The set lunch oso has jelly for deserts, and cream soup or borsch soup. Very full manz… the food’s nice~ we took a few photos here and there.

After that we head straight to the shopping complex ( I forgot the name), joined with the rest and went to watch our movie. Well, I am glad I watched this movie in here and not Singapore. It is nice la, but not worth that 7 or 8 plus sing dollars. After the movie, we did some shopping… bought quite a lot of stuff wor~ tops from Factory Outlet Shop, belt from Padini Authentic, bag from dolly dorsa. Ard 9:30 or so, we took cab back to our hostel. Tada~~~ That’s all for today… Haiz, my fingers, esp 2 of them on my left hand were hurting abit… U can see from the photo I posted behind this blog entry. I used washing powder to rinse and rub lor… so my fingers got abrasions as a result. Sob~

UM Day 16 - 26th May

Haha so shagged…. We skipped breakfast again as we were late again… I was very worried for my laptop too… When we reached the studio, indeed I found my lappy at the chair, luckily it was covered with paper and stuff… whew~

Well… no mood to do much work… very tired…. 2 of my grp members didn’t come until the afternoon time, so kinda low efficiency at work. During lunch time, I heard that we going to this pasar malam somewhere, so it kinda brightened up my mood abit. In the afternoon, our work discussion got more interesting. And we had bigger/joint discussion with the other 4 members, so we kinda laughed and suan each other and had interesting conversations…. Until we were so noisy lor… haha…. Very happy ~~ abt 5 plus or 6pm, we began to pack up and set off to pasar malam via the UM students’ cars.

Malasian pasar malam is different from our Singapore’s cos they have bigger land space and so it stretched very very long… and they sold more variety of stuff. After dinner, we walked ard and I bought so many things! Bought some presents/gifts, 2 watches, some snacks etc! haha~ oh man….

Oh we saw this stall with caged frogs, and this guy cut the heads and limbs on the spot…GROSS…. Well, as for the things I bought, I wanna blog abt them but then to give my frens nice surprises, I better not reveal anything. Hiak hiak

Abt 10pm, me and elita went back to studio. I did some surfing information from internet for my design project while msning to some of my JC frens and anime ones too. Haha~ at least I managed to say hi and chit chat abit. Abt 11pm, we went back to our hostel. I managed to wash 2 of my berms after other piles of undergarments!! So proud of myself though my hands were damn painful and dry now… Finally I can boost to my mum that I can wash bottoms liao.

Ok, so now it seemed everyone sleeping liao while I wanna start work. Tml haf to wake up earlier to go studio early… but I still wanna work tonight… haiz… sian… oh btw, the electricity was up by the time we came back. Good…

Well, we passed the half-month mark….so far I wanna say that I am getting lots of mosquito bites EACH day, and I got this damn HUGE bruise on my left leg, abt 6 to 7 cm diameter…. Due to me knocking against a chair in a shoe shop a few days again…. Haiz… my limbs are “disfigured”…

On our way to Pasar Malam in the car, one UM fren showed us a pair of huge specs that is meant for viewing 3d movies. So we played with it and took photos~

UM Day 12-15 – 22 - 25 May

More work and late nights, in fact we slept little… piaing the measured drawings… I think I’m growing fat. Been munching on cereals and drinking this big bottle of coke… die… connection from my desk in the studio is damn bad too…. I felt so sick abt all this… bathing is so inconvenient too…

Once I had a suay bathing experience. I got this bathroom that had no hook. So I had to find stupid places to hang my stuff. Finally I took off my clothes, and den found out the pipe not working… damn suay…. All the pipes here has very varying pressure. Sometimes large, and sometimes low… so u got into this rhythm of turning the tap to adjust the gust of water everytime.

25th is our submission of measured drawings… and after presenting it, we took photos together… everyone very shagged. We went back to our hostel in the evening and prepared to go out at night. So some ppl took a nap first while me, lav and bren did our laundry. We tried out the washing machine… we fell asleep while waiting… The last stage, which is drying part was kinda stuck. So we decided to wringe our clothes ourselves.

We went to Mid-Valley shopping centre to eat dinner. Some of us went to catch the 11:40pm Star Wars. That is late so I didn’t watch. The rest of us did some shopping to buy groceries from Carrefour. We came back to hostel after the shopping and horrified to find that our block was out of electricity – blackout-

Someone must have tripped the wire…. No lights nor fans anywhere, except the topmost level…. So we went up to bathe there…. Sian… so suay. Back in our dark hot room after bathing… and I realised I forgot to bring my laptop back from the studio, so worrying… I was alone in my room lor, cos my room mate, elita, was with the movie gang. Very scary lor the room…haha…. So dark and I cant see well in dark places.

Anyway, me, lav and ros chit chat outside my room as our hair were too wet to sleep. We talked a lot of stuff until 1 plus am. After that, we went back to our own rooms and slept. Yup~

Finally our measure drawings review cum presentation was over.... This is my 8-grp team but one UM guy was missing. From right, WeiQian (UM), Cheewee (NUS), Eng Kiat(NUS), Wey Shan (UM), Xin Yun (UM), me, and XuHui (NUS).

UM DAY 11- 21st May

Wah early in the morning we supposed to go for Dim Sum as breakfast. Cheewee even woke us up early…only I able to wake up…the rest slept still. As rain poured, the Dim Sum trip was cancelled. We went to listen to our lecturer who brought us to some spots of areas which had a lot of history yet ppl hardly know them. Soon the rain started again and we continued to visit places… so in the end, we all looked so drenched to the core….At abt 11am, we went back to our hotel, packed our luggage and set off in a couch. They brought us to see Mini Malaysia. So dances were performed…. And many of those traditional living houses of SEA region were there too. Abt 3 pm, we finally set off to KL..whew~

After we reached KL, we moved in to our hostel room which dun have internet access…. Anway, almost immediately, we went to Mid-Valley shopping complex. Rac and Elita bought shoes from Vincci lor…wah… even Brenda bought too~ in the end I didn’t buy anything at all… Those I like dun have my size, while those got my size doesn’t look perfect… as in the heels too low or whatever… L

Ok, back in the room, me and elita cleaned and wiped our rooms and bathed after that in the “public” toilet… so ley chey… anyway, its 3:40 am and still, my hair’s wet… tml need to wake up early somemore for studio meeting and shopping! Haha ok…nitez!

Early in the morning, our lecturer brought us ard Malacca to tell us some stories before we leave Malacca. Soon it was raining cats and dogs lor.... I still had flu ok.... anyway saw this nice big ship along a river bank.

I saw this incinerator in one of the temples along the river bank... so cute. Did u see a Hu Lu at the top of this incinerator? Like a crown of a stupa.

We saw this shop with sooo many animals... so cute! this guy was giving a goose a bath! And we were also drenched from the rain...

haha we were all gathered in the lobby area of Baba house, ready to set off to KL... Wat a scene with bags etc on floor.

We watched some dances in front of this stage. They also had chinese dance!! danced by Malays... hmm, very refreshing. Most of the dances look the same to me...

I saw these grp of the traditional houses which look good with the backgrd of sky and trees. Alot of these houses are on display for ppl to go in and walk ard.

I climbed up a bamboo staircase into one of the house displayed there.... bamboo flooring is really not nice to walk on. they also displayed household items in the house...

ooo, another traditional house but by the sea this time. very nice to walk on and look out into the sea...

we were abt to leave Mini Malaysia when I saw this carriage... the bull is very poser.... when we took photos, it turned its head to look into the camera and remained like that until we left. So smart.

On the bus to KL and straight to our hostel, I saw the sky very nice... sunset at that time. So I took it, nice silouettes of tall buildings and the electric cable. Den i caught some of the reflections of our bus on the windows... quite a cool photo isnt it? haha

UM DAY 11- 21st May

UM day 9&10 (19th & 20th May)

These days have been real busy too…. More and more measurements to be taken. Oh yes, forgot to tell you that we put on yellow helmets when we went inside for the first day. So we all looked like future contractors… lol. Rudy took a picture of us (elita, xuhui and me) putting on our helmets… the funny thing is that I was helping xuhui to put on, while elita helped me at the back… so we formed this “toot toot train” formation…. So cute… ^^

Finally on Friday, it was our last day in Malacca and taking the measurements at the ulu shophouse. From morning to afternoon, me and Xuhui were drawing/ drafting our plans to scale. Being bored, we switched on the tv and tried to decipher wat the Malay ppl were saying while we worked. We ended up laughing… becos we were making funny guesses at what they were saying etc that we felt ourselves being so duh… After 3 pm, we 2 decided to go to the shophouse for a last look. When I was there, I witnessed this UM student, called Din (in short), went up the roof!! I saw it with my own eyes…. At first, he climbed up some toilet wall… den hopped to this concrete beam, sat on it and slowly stood up and squeezed through the bare rafters. His fren aka my partner, Wei Qian, threw one end of the tape for Din. Din caught it and bit the end with his mouth and climbed up the roof tiles with his hands and legs…. The whole action was very risky lor… Not only it is so darn high and out in the open, the house is on this collapsing and unstable mode. Other side of the roof had been totally gone or collapsed. Damn zai!

Wey Shan, another UM student, wanted to trace a window glass pattern, but the windows were in that collapsed section… so she had to break the glass to let it come on. This set me and Xuhui throwing stones and broken tiles at the glass, shiok! Cos since young, we were taught not to do this do that, and not to break things. And so now, I get to experienced this little thrilling moments.. hhaha, but in the end, we only got a small part broken…

At night, the night market at Jonker Street started again. It only occurs on fri and sat nights. So I bought some local sweets which look good and I am very tempted to try them myself but I restrained from doing so. I should share with my family and frens mah. I caught some flu this day.. I kept sneezing since morning, so at night I had some running nose …after dinner at night market, I went back hotel while the others went to Geographer, which is a nice bar shop ( I went there b4 during year1), and drank and chat. Rudy came back hotel after a while and wanted to watch this dvd of this comedy movie called “Harold and Kumar”. I oso got curious abt the show, so I went to watch in his room, using Eng Kiat’s laptop. Only his lappy worked. Ours cannot read the disc. So Eng kiat ended up watching with us too~ After the show, I went back to the hotel and started packing up with the gals…. Our room was really messy with all the drawings and tools lying all ard…. After packing, it was abt 3 plus am…. Sleep!

UM day 8 – 18th May

Today is the start of another project. This time is measured drawing of a particular shophouse. Each grp is assigned with a different shophouse. So this morning woke up at abt 9 am and went there to do measuring… the unit is damn dangerous as floors above had collapsed etc…I took some photos of it, u can see them after this blog. Teachers had warned us not to go up to the 2nd floor, but we still did climb up there…. Lol… we wore helmet and mask lor…. So kua zhang hor… so hot and stuffy and dirty inside.

The shophouse we supposed to do and the next one beside it for the next group are 2 most dangerous ones in the project. Their celing aka 2nd storey floor was not stable… and for my grp’s one, it was used to be a maturnity room. The other one beside it is a clinic. So ours got this abandoned dusty and plant creeped metal bed…. While for the other grp, they found a thermometer… hmm, so u can see how eerie they are… Our teacher joked when he asked if we can hear baby sounds… -_-“. I oso found old piano…. Old bath tub…. Haiz… the other grp’s one found bones of rats and birds filling up the drain at the courtyard… eeek…. Den at the very end of the long, narrow shophouse, is an open space which is now like jungle. Den some of them saw this huge lizard. Elita suspected that it is the lizard that killed all these little animals to eat… oh man~ so sick…. We were like walking into some dilapidated ghost/haunted house…

In the afternoon, me and xuhui returned to our rooms to draw out our measurements, using some 3d software…. The rest of us were still at that shophouse taking measurements…. The leader gave me easy stuff to do… only floor pattern and levelling…and beam structures…. I prefer to do detailing lor….although it is very tedious, but I dun mind cos it’s challenging..… haiz…. Nvm den…like lor…

So in the afternoon while waiting for some dimensions to be given to me, I was playing abit on my laptop, and writing this blog….

see the corridor, windows and door have been distorted as the floor had gave way.... scary hor... it is plainly hanging on by one end of the wall only.

the "jungle" at the very end of the shophouse... didnt see the huge monitor lizard myself...

these are the bones of rats and birds.... All of them scattered on this drain area... It's a mystery to solve.... a mass murder case..

UM Day 6&7 (16th&17th May)- Busiest days so far

These two days we were piaing like crazy for the presentation/report. So I couldn’t blog them until it is over. Cant really remember wat happen but juz keep on working in front of the laptop and transferring files among one another… whining, complaining, cursing for many of us….haha… not funny at that time of cos…

So on day 6 (Monday) night, we were all pulling hair for work after we came back from dinner at Coconut Hut which sells Italian food… elita and xuhui shared the same room with me in Baba House. But only in this room, xuhui is in my work grp. And the guy who always “quarrel” with me, cheewee (I called him Kiwi), came over to our room and worked overnight with me and xuhui. Elita and Xuhui slept at abt 2 plus… so left me and kiwi to pia the work… eng kiat was working in his room…. And he was asleep when we went to his room to ask something! Oh man…. Anyway, at abt 4 plus, 5, all of us cannot take it and slept in our own rooms. And the horrible thing is when we woke up at 7 plus or 8 plus on the next day, we found out that we actually have a presentation at 10am.. wah kao, die… we havent finish lor... so everything is very messily done…

Finally our presentation was over at 1 plus, abt 2pm, we were like liberated from hell or something and we became hyper… we went for lunch, den shop ard the shophouses. Some ppl bought a lot of antique stuff… I cannot find anything nice that I like… haven settle some gifts….headache. We went back and some of us had to change room cos the counter ppl cock up lor, gave us the wrong room…sian, so we had to move our stuff and luggage again… wah, shifting here and there…. So troublesome, After that,in the evening, we went to the town area, the shopping mall…. Wah~~ u know wat, the very expensive Vincci shoes (not sure if this is the right spelling) u have seen ard cost abt 30 plus Sing dollars here lor… DAMN CHEAP. No wonder elita went crazy! Hahaha~~ I was very tempted too~~ lol…. She got some tops from the Factory Outlet Shop (FOS) of genuine brand/stuff at really cheap prices. Again I didn’t buy anything… Finally we were looking at the watch stall at the grd floor… selling fake watches… but they looked really real. Johnny needed a watch so he bought an “adidas” watch at 25 RM… wah, it is a good buy lor… the watch is really cool haha… I bought a watch too… cos I think my current silver watch is spoiling soon becos I have been using it sooo often…

After we returned from the mall, it is abt 9:30. we three gals wanna send our clothes to the laundry shop but it was closed! So ok… tml den. Some of the guys wanna go Puri to tap on the wireless connection and play games… So I super happy and went along too, as I have been waiting for this day! I played abit and abt 10:45, me and rudy went to some drinking shop to find rachelle, elita, kiwi and Johnny. They drank but I didn’t lar… We chatted abit while rudy left earlier. After 12 plus, near 1 am, I returned to hotel to bathe and came out again with rudy to go Puri Hotel and tap on the wireless, again! Haha…

A lot of mosquitoes flying ard. We sat at this area which has a lot of swallows sleeping near the ceiling on their cute nests… I showed a photo of it before in one of the previous entries... We noticed that the swallows are soo cute, becos one side are couple areas… where each nest was shared by 2 birds… and they formed one row. Other side is for the singles or more community type of housing area… and they are very noisy…. Den one swallow very naughty and disturbed another swallow of one couple. The angry disturbed one chased after the naughty one, flying in circles ard the room… and finally rest in its nest besides his/her partner… haha… later we moved to the lobby area…

Rudy overheard that the 2 guards at the entrance were speaking in Malay and complaining that we 2 are juz using their system blah blah. So rudy put on an act… so finally. We talked very loudly to ourselves, purpose is to let them hear us… So we complained that we waited so long for our professor but she never come down. Etc etc…. haha I have to restrain myself from laughing… rudy is a good actor manz…. Finally we decided to leave the place and rudy got the opportunity to speak to the guard and told him our profs are staying in Puri, while the students in Baba, so there will be in-and-out traffic to be expected… well, a nice ending for the act… so we went back to our rooms and called it a day. So eventful. I returned to find the gals already sleeping and I went to the toilet to wash clothes. Washed quite a few pieces.. and later to find my hands were so dry and pain from the washing….haiz….
Everyone away or busy on msn, no one replied me except ahba, but only 2 sentences from him when I was walking out of the Puri Hotel.. too late. : ( where’s everybody…)

UM Day 5- 15th May

Ok, woke up earlier than the rest to do some work… Ard 8:30am, we gals were told that we can bring our luggage to Baba Hotel first. There was this mini van to transport our stuff. After that, we were all rushing to do our work until 3pm to go Puri Hotel for the 2nd discussion meeting with our profs. This time I had my laptop with me, so I went online, FINALLY! I posted my Day 1 blog and said hi to an anime fren, MSN no one online except Ed who was sleeping.

I did not have lunch lor… and I bought some bread as my dinner. Soon, some archi gals came into the room. We began to chit chat while waiting our turns to bathe. We complained abt our sunburns… how we had become uneven in colours… den we also looked at one another’s lotions…. Wah, I realised all my frens pampered themselves a lot…. More than I did… haha, but I think they were more careful of their skin and all. Hmm…. Should I invest more in that? Lol….. aiya… shld go back to work now…submission (review) is tues. I really cannot afford to sleep!

UM day4- 14th May “I am so stupid”

Haha, as expected, I didn’t manage to wake up at the time I wanted… I set 2 alarms on my hp… duno y it didn’t ring…. I didn’t hear it too… am I that sleepy? Anyway I woke up near 7am, which I am supposed to be at the Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock street already… My assigned partner, Woi Chean knocked on my door, that made me woke up… sp hurriedly I washed up while he waited for me outside. Xuhui oso overslept.. lol… At the site, we were separated into 2 grps of 2 each to sit at the different street junction to count the diff types of vehicles. Me and Woi Chean sat down at a shophouse steps and chit chat while we count the vehicles passing by… seemed we were pretty relaxed rite… neh… haha woi chean very funny….and he’s pretty caring to his friends ard him, including gals of cos. Many times he wont act like big brother and told me to stand inner abit to prevent kenna knock down by cars at the turning corner. This morning at the shopfront, he tried to find clean sitting area for me. He even took a piece of cardboard lying there and cleaned it with his hand, wept away the dust and dirt and let me sit on it while he sat on the dirty concrete floor… aww…. So sweet rite? Haha. Also, when the sun began to rise, he kept shifting place for me so that I would not get hit by the sun rays. Aiyo~ so in the end I told him I was too lazy to move liao, so we settled there until 9 plus am…

We walked back to our hotel and I sun bian bought some shampoo etc from guardian, which has no signboard outside…lol. Hey, many things were cheap leh… the dove shower cream is 6.88 ringgit!! Wah, means ard 3 bucks in singapore leh… woi chean told me I can get cheaper in shopping centres… heehee, shall reserve my money for buying stuff there then. I’ll juz get the necessary toiletries here will do… ok, so from now til 2plus pm, I stayed in my hotel, sleeping lor… den when I juz woke up, xuhui knocked on my door and we went to haf lunch, before we met up the rest of the grp members and proceeded to Puri Hotel for discussion with our professors. Oh man, lots of work to do. Tonight no sleep but I tink I will fall asleep. After discussion, we went to Jonker St. again for dinner in a mini eatery place. We toked abt our grp members, whether we are gum or not. I think I let the issue affected me and I seemed to feel down. I think nothing serious or much to make me feel sad but I juz feel down lar… Den ard 8 plus, we went back hotel. And I realised I am such a dumb person.

Me and jiayu were waiting for the lift. The door opened with an Indian guy. He looked ard and said something like wrong floor he wanted. So he asked us to come in. And the next horrible thing is… after I came in, he closed the door! And squashed jiayu!! OMG! Den she scolded him, “oh my god, wat are u doing..!” so after he pressed the door opened, jiayu came in… wah… muz be damn pain… she had the sian face liao… den this guy pressed first floor. But when door opened, he went out and looked ard and wanted to come back in again. But I pressed button 3 very fast so too late for him to go back in…Den jy was telling me that actually I shouldn’t go into this lift with this stranger lor… he looked so suspicious as he came all the way down and looked ard and wanted to go back up again…. And in this lousy small lift, which alarm is spoilt, things can be very bad if they were to happen lor. This sort of make me realised that yes, it is very dangerous… I think I let my guard down since I had a fren to accompany me… I feel so dumb and stupid… Y am I not alert at times when I needed to be. In Singapore, I am very alert at such things… Y when I come here, I seemed to forgot all this…. Karina was saying that maybe I am still not used to the new environment…ok… I think I am forever a child, stupid, dumb, or always think ppl are nice and etc.. I dunno… whatever. Had to go bathe soon and do work after that… sian… haha~ I juz found out that Puri Hotel got wireless! But dunno need to pay ornot leh…. Hmm, nvm, after this 1st busy phrase is over, I will try the internet. We are changing hotel on Mon, called Ba Ba Hotel. It is opposite Puri Hotel lor!! Yes man! I can juz run across the street and use internet! Heehee~~~ ok la, should end here~~ ^ ^

UM Day 3-13th May "Injury Day... again"

I woke up pretty early in the morning to do some work, while bren and karina went out early with her grp mates to do the street study. So left me and elita in the room. I did some work and read the Undo book b4 the rest came back. After that we dressed up neatly and set off to the Local Authority centre to get to know abt their conservation projects etc in Malacca. When we went in the “conference room”, it is like a parliament discussion room lor! Like we see the ministers and all sitting there, with rows of seats at both sides of the long room, and there are mikes in front of us. Then we have the authority ppl in the main chairs at the front, which has a lot of flags standing in the backgrd… wah…. Wat a serious atmosphere. I then realised I got a cut at my finger….

Blood has dried too… dunno how I got it. So after that, me, bren, karina and other UM students went to this stall to have noodles and ice-kacangs and chendols… wow, yesterday I had ice-kacang, now chendol… oh manz, I gonna get fat! From 3pm onwards, we visited other places. We went to SCDA house in street 55…. Again… Last year in year 1, me and ex-studio went there b4 lor…. Haiz sianz…. Later we visited Chee Hong Teng/Mazu Temple….den to its theatre building opposite the street which is still under renovation. This temple or theatre (the whole project) is awarded something like the best conservation project. These days we were walking and sweating under the hot sun. Most of us were sunburnt, so am i…. now my face contrasted more with my limbs… best… A contractor there demo us how to “cut” the porcelain pieces for those mosaics we see on the roof decorations. It seemed easy but when we tried to do it, it is yucky, so difficult. And as we cut, bit s of fine porcelain fly ard and stuck on to our skin. I was cutting halfway when suddenly I saw my left arm was bleeding…. A fresh blot of blood… oh ok…. Some tiny bits of porcelain muz have been pierced into my skin. I stood up and walked away to other areas… Den realised another part of that arm near my wrist was bleeding too! Hey…. So serious ar? Ok, so this cutting porcelain business can be so dangerous. Later, the lady from the temple project brought us ard to point out which are the bird nest houses. Hey, I found out that there are many of these houses are ard! And many swallows are flying ard… Hey, my fellow mates are flying in the sky~~ lol….. yea, swallows do live in the north after all….heehee….

Today is Friday, so there’s this night market aka pasar malam throughout most of the Jonker’s street… cool~~ but a lot of mosquitoes ard, but since I am wearing jeans it should be ok. Wah, we bought a lot of food… ate until pretty full… but compared to others, I ate the least…. I controlled myself mah. I bought some stuff/items too….very nice and proud of my findings. We continued to the end of the street where we spotted one crowd. We went near to see, and found this popular Malaysian guy who was in the guiness records for piercing into the coconut using 1 finger within 1 min I think. I heard from my frens that he’s super popular… and a lot of ppl who crowded to see him perform some tricks and the famous piercing coconut stunt are his friends or fans lor. They all very supportive of him and bought his medicines and ointments. He let us tried some of them. I rubbed some on my neck and it is really effective! But then I know it is just another kind of ointment that works like painkiller….of cos I didn’t buy…wah many bought, so he’s earning big bucks in one night…. Later we went back hotel…. Hot, tired and sweaty. After I took off my jeans, I realised I had mosquito bites! I didn’t feel itchy and the spots are swollen and red… as though they are scratches..! Ros said these are commando mosquitoes… they are really amazing to climb up from the bottom of my jeans… elita got 3 vertical bites at her hips cos she’s wearing a skirt….oh man… afterwards I felt those horrible itches….-_-. After bathing, it was almost 11 plus, yet we had some small grp meeting.. great, tml I have to do traffic study (counting different types of vehicles technically) at different times of the day… wah sian….and now is already 2:13am. Ok I better sleep now…. Haiz, each day I sure get ‘injured’ in some ways… hopefulky it will end from today….
