Final Big Mahjong session

hehe back home after staying over at ed's house again to play mahjong. but this time, yock didnt come... :(

Yesterday I was at simlim trying to settle my new PC and yea!! I can collect this evening! But ops, no table or space to put yet..... ahhhh my ikea table... Anyway, I spent 3 hours in the shop dicussing with the shop guy and my sis over the graphics card i should use..... finally after 3 hours, I am convinced and agreed to reduce the standard of the card and spend more on the processor and ram and HDD. hmm~~ rather pleased lar~ and becos of the long discussion.. (is it my stubborness? but hey this kinda thing muz think carefully wat, else regret how? and it cost almost 2k from my own pocket money leh.... so mai siao siao...lol), that's y I was late in arriving ed's place. They were watching Tian Long Ba Bu, and I managed to catch the last 1/2 hour of it before we started the mj session.

To haf more kick but no gambling, we played min 2 Fan. My first time leh.... so the guys spent alot of patience and time to explain to me how to play and tolerated my stupidity and carelessness.... rather thankful... haha~~ too sleepy oso lar hor. Hmm i find 2 Fan more challenging and interesting leh... think i am addicted to 2 fan liao~ hehe

After 2 complete rounds of 4 winds, we stopped playing, watched abit of MTVs in ed's laptop... And then... ed accidentally kicked a glass bowl containing grapes down on the floor... ops~ so ended up ed's parents waking up to clean the living room for us.... so paiseh ....

We went to sleep after that.... And when I woke up at abt 10 plus, I was shocked that sel and yk left already.... I tot ed's dad was joking when he said they left.... OMG! best sia.... wanna kill them. So the rest of the morning, the parents tokked to me abt architecture, abt work and life and about their sons, esp. ed.... lol, learnt alot of 'interesting' things from them that ed didnt allow me to mention to anyone... hahaha~~~ so... i shall move on.... anyway ed was snoring away beside his dad while we all chit chat. I can't leave the place like that oso.... lucky they are so entertaining so tt I wont feel awkward or stone there. Finally ed was fully awakened and packed up his stuff to go for some outing, den I can finally leave too. Really muz thank his parents since we all always go his house and disturb them... really bu hao yi si....

this is my last weekend of freedom and I think it have been rather fun in its own way, though there's no outing or wat... peaceful afternoon now... too nice to sleep away... think i shall pack my room and tables so that I haf a good fresh start for the coming sem. :)

Healthy lifestyle!!

Yea yea~~~ happy friday~~~ yup i went jogging again after work! Finally there's motivation in me to jog~~ today is a healthy day! *beams*

This time i seemed to jog with much ease than previous time... faster maybe? not sure. i left home at 7:50pm, so by the time i walked to the stadium, it should be ard 7:55-57..... So I began jogging once i entered, for 6 round non-stops. Last time i dun get stitch when i jog or run, but previous time i had it at the fourth or fifth round onwards... maybe becos i haven eaten? or maybe i am juz weak already la. So that time i had to use alot of will power to continue running. However today, i did not really feel any stitch. great! but then was damn thirsty but still i didnt stop!! and i did not use much will power, juz concentrate on my breathing and wooola~ 6 rounds done up. After i rest abt a min, i noticed this clock which showed 8:12pm then! Huh, u mean i jogged 6 rounds for 10-12 minutes?! really!? i am not that slow?!

Soon i went to the outermost ring to walk but until halfway i decided to jog for the rest of the half.... den went to rest by doing a set of warm ups/cool down stretches, den the time was 8:20pm... still early, so i challenged myself to run one more round.... after i finished and going to do a set of cool down stretches, the clock striked 8:25pm and the lights went off... ok, it is closing. hmm cool, within 1/2 hr, i did 7 and 1/2 rounds with 2 sets of cool down stretches... wow~ hehe, i will add more rounds next time...

After i returned i had orange juice before eating my dinner... den washed some dishes blah blah... suddenly, i felt so happy... and energised. I had a good nutritious meal and doing abit of dish-washing (considered doing household chores la~~), and all these made me felt so accomplished and satisfied. I feel i am in control~~ lol

I had a good bath... pampered myself with some lotions and some scrubbing... oh manz, this is my day. The best thing is that for these 2 jogging trips, i did not return with aching thighs/muscle aches etc.... usually after each jog, i ended up having to wait for many days before i can jog again and this puts off my determination. Think becos those times when i joined with my frens, we were faster, hence i strained myself, ending up dizzy and having painful muscle aches that I cannot walk properly for days. For these 2 times i jogged at a reasonable/comfortable speed, that's y i dun get muscle aches and heavy panting after the run.

okok, think i blabbering too much abt my jogging.... bored yea? hey tml is another busy and eventful day! saturday!! playing mahjong with some JC frens~ hehe, think it will be my last weekend that i can enjoy so carefree.... and i no longer indulging so much in gaming. Great! My life is back! I am in control!!

Finally

Cheekily the weather is super bright and sunny today.... -_-

becos of the weather, I am tempted and hence made a decision to jog today after work. And I made it!~ finally!! after jogging, I felt so refreshed! it will be nice if i can jog everyday like that... well, clementi stadium closes at 8:30pm, so I can't linger long there too....

well.... it seems tht only through jogging that my body will be forced to drink water. As you know, i hardly drink water and hardly sweat.... my system so clogged up lol.... but after 1/2 hour run, i didnt fully break into rains of sweat like other ppl.... forehead not much dripping... hmm, i didnt run enuff? i did rather slow run of 6 and abt a quarter rounds abt the track.... without stopping of cos, that is the most basic rules i set for myself.... last time used to be rather proud of my 2.4 km run.... now i think i sux terribly. Maybe not being abt to run with my fren(s) is a good thing....cos i would malu myself and make them to wait for me and/or me feeling terrible and stressed. lol.... today alot of ppl on the tracks.... hmm think i will jog again soon.

after hearing more songs etc i haf more inspirations to write more abstract stories. I haf written 2 recently and titled them 星之语 part 1 and 2. Now i will go on to the next series.

Disappointing Day

Monday was supposed to start the week with cheerfulness and all.... and somemore, ed was able to join me to jog later in the evening. Many times we failed to jog, so this time shld be no problem.... but in the end the rainy weather killed everything... -_-" Is this fated? Is heaven playing a trick on me or both of us, and me destined not to be able to jog for the hols? wah sian.... hehe, but at least i got present!! finally~~

It is the last week of work and this is when we started to be so much closer to the staff in the office. We were chatting alot more while working and guessing each other's chinese names, past JC schools, past CCAs, and teasing one another, suaning one another... so fun... abit reluctant to go. We planned to haf KTV session this coming Wed but some cannot make it, so maybe next week.

so many things undone and I needa get new table and new PC.... and i had to do them all by myself.... haiz..... think i cannot be so independent on sis nor anyone liao though feel abit loss.... This reminded me that on one of the days, me and the office staff were having lunch and started to guess who is the youngest in the house or the eldest. And they said I was obviously the youngest. When I asked how they know, they said they can feel it, and oso the way i behave and talked etc.... hmm is it childish way? They said no. Den wat is it? haiz.... they cannot really explain too.... haiz....

yk wanna org another mahjong session this sat... kenna nice as it can serve as a celebration to my end of working life in hols! hehe

Many happenings Part 2

hhoho~~~ many things to tok abt.... but will say briefly ba... Thursday I had ex-studio outing at Rice Table in Internation building, Orchard. And Fri in the office, we celebrated a staff's bdae. I posted some photos before this blog, can scroll down to see.... I think I am damn lucky in the sense that in all the workplaces I went to, the ppl are damn nice... For eg, this time, the bdae gal was a fresh grad student who came to office 1 month before me to work as perm staff. Now the office ppl bought her a bdae cake from Secret Recipe and one guy sort of planned how to celebrate her bdae by doing some acting etc. The rest of us like ying who tried to do up a bdae card and engkiat made some little fake bouquet of flowers to go with the card. For me, I did a little circular model and put some landscaping stuff in it. Haha, so u see how touched the bdae gal is~~

On friday, it was a really surprising one. After the bdae celebration in office, it was near 5-6 pm, it was almost time to leave office. Jus then i checked my hp to see Ed's sms to jio us for mahjong session at near midnight at his house. I was shocked.... wat a happening day. I think sel posted most of the happening in his blog liao, so i shant say anything more~~ haha juz that I feel abit duh at myself for not playing much since i went to sleep at 3am.... so i only played 3 hours... not enuff!!!!!

Yea failed to jog during this weekend... I tot i can jog on sunday, which is today... but I woke up at 5:15 pm. YES, PM! so i hadnt haf any food yet, so mum forbidded me to jog. Oh man.... So I ended up packing my files on my laptop..... Hey, i failed to go IKEA to check out on tables and failed to go Sim Lim to check out on new PC.... I failed in doing alot of things I wanna do!! Please throw stones and rotten eggs at me.

Haiz, jo had stopped playing the game.... Sel oso like giving up cos he passed me alot of things.... though he's still playing the game but for fun sake. I really admire jo's sense of impulse though I know it can be a good or bad thing depending on the situation. Well I think this is me... I am a person who dun haf courage to let things go. Once committed, it will last until the very end. I think it applies to almost everything in my life.... in everything i do. Sometimes i think it is stupidity perseverence.

Recently some ppl been saying they haf many faces to their real self.... this suddenly gave me an idea... It reminded me of a Post-Impressionist aritst, Paul Cezanne, who painted objects from different perspectives and thus his paintings ended up segmented. It inspired Picasso and he brought forward such ideas and developed it until he set up the art movement Cubism. Cezanne would never tot his little idea would make a worldly famous thing. Every angle gives one a different view of the object; of the person; of the event. Becos of fragmentation, the world is a complicated yet interesting matter that no one will ever haf true understanding of things, even themselves... things are everchanging, never fail to amuse anyone.....

2nd post for tonight

yea, so late... 3:45 am and I juz finished posting my previous blog and the relevant photos.... but then still wide awake... so weird.... so decided to post more stuff. Juz now came back from work, I passed by several kittens and cats near my flat. I witnessed this interesting sight. got 2 cats eating some food/rice that some one gave them.... then beside them was a.... rat!!! all three of them sat ard in a circle and ate the food in harmony!!! wat a sight!!!! lol, since got food, no one will fight.... juz like of everyone is rich, there wont be robbery... lol blabbering nonsense... but so cute lor, rat and cats eating together. This should be the way mah~~

有一次, 一位男生从我身边而过, 顿时他身上的香水味, 浓浓地扑鼻过来 .... 这时我脑海里在想: 身上占有浓厚的香味很好吗? 会让自己感到较有信心? 还是让别人对他有好感, 等等?
我想, 有些人不需要点缀自己, 简简单单, 确给人一种踏实, 安全感, 不虚伪, 很老实, 等等...的感觉. 这样就足够了.

Many happenings!!

ooo so fast already in the 3rd week of my "intern".... hehe~~~ alot of funny things happening. First is last week fri or thurs i think.... then is this Mon....

Friday:
Last week, i injured 2 fingers. I think I told some of u already.... the incident is real stupid. My fault or my carelessness. It happened like this... One afternoon we all decided to go to chinatown to haf porridge at this supposedly famous porridge stall. (everyone think the food not that great leh... wonder y so famous...) After eating, we took cab back to office. Ok, so me, ying, eng kiat and one yr1 student took a cab together. I grabbed this metal part between the 2 windows to support myself while going in to sit. Eng kiat sat at the front seat and immediately slammed the door hard and tight. My fingers were slammed flat. OUCH! I could not pull my fingers off! It was really shut tight. It hurt so much that I yelled at him to open the door and den my tears juz flowed out uncontrollably, cos it was so pain... My 2 middle fingers got the most dmg... all red too. There is this big line of dent across them near my upmost fingerjoints.... The dents soon turned BLACK. I was laughing and crying together so hard that my waist area hurts.. lol.... all of them including the taxi driver kept looking at me and check to see if my fingers were broken or wat... They said that I'm lucky that the groove didnt hit my joints exactly, but the knobs there, else my fingers will be dislocated there. ya... i am lucky...

Slowly, the flesh at the dents slowly popped up and revealed 2 patches of bruise near the joints. It swell and I hardly able to bend them. So back in office, I grabbed some cold mineral water bottles to cool the swell... After some time, back to work again... Finally we finished all the little models of the houses.... total 16 of them... we decided to take photos of them. They looked like COOKIES to me, freshly baked from oven... lol. So Ying suggested we bring apron and pose for some photos on next Mon, which is yester yesterday.

Sat-Sun:
Anime chalet!!! haha nothing much to say except that yea~ yk came to the chalet! I think the whole chalet quite fun as usual, we were marathoning Bleach. Yk oso stayed back to watch until the next morning~ lol.... There are 2 ang mohs in the chalet... hmm... and get to know this person who studied comics arts in US... wow.... Den on sunday early afternoon I left the chalet, in a cab with the 2 ang moh... I like to travel alone sometimes when i'm tired.... dun feel like tokking but one of the ang moh decided to take mrt with me, and live in Buona Vista... ok, so he's gonna be with me almost all the way. So I haf to smile and tok actively, trying to hide my yawning. well, he's pretty nice a person and he went to many places ard the world... haiz... so good.

Mon:
Haha, today me and ying brought our aprons to office!!! After lunch, we asked engkiat to take photos of us 'baking' the houses.... so proud of our production lor, we are like factories.... engkiat made a fake ice-cream out of foamboard... which looked pretty enticing to eat... I posted the photos le~ ENjoy!

Finally I finished my anime poster and flyer juz now..... whew~ They weren't great pieces of work and yet I overshot the deadline so much. Sorry to waiyee and everyone involved. My bad. yup~ cya all! nitez!

(PS: some guy's been pestering me via sms.... i hate ppl who crap and pester me liddat... i may turn cold to such ppl.... :( )

Mei farewell+Wm bade+ etc

Tues: Mei's farewell + wm bdae
Yock already went to HK early in the morning 6:40 am i think...and in the evening, it's Mei's turn to fly off, to study in aust for a year, cool huh~ me and weikun reached first, den edwin, and finally yk,wm,sel, and gab. we met up with mei at swensons before we went up to the terminal hall... we had some photo taking sessions b4 mei had to go off to the departure entrance... aka the waving good-bye place... mei managed not to cry in front of us, and managed cheerful smile and laughter...but she kinda rushed off so fast to reduce any chance of further moments of reluctance... in the end i ran up to give her a hug (which i almost slipped due to the smooth tiles) and wish her a safe journey. :) A few waves and off she went in... Xh came about 1 min after mei went in... Aiyo.... A slight miss lor~~ So now it's weimin bdae celebration. He decided to haf dinner in swenson~ Ah, so this was when something interesting going to happen to me....

Ah ba, sel, ed and me wanna draw money, but for most of us we need to find POSB ATM. Seeing none nearby, they gave up... but for me, I determined to find one so i went off, and learnt from a air stewardess that it is at the end of this whole hall.... wah kao.... ok lor, so i walked pretty fast, den suddenly a guy called out to me, "Hi, excuse me, are you from Indonesia? U look familiar." He was pushing a large trolley of lugguage, and wearing attire like a big boss. He is in his 30s... or very early 40s. Quite tall and abit plump. Very like big boss type lor.... So i said no. But he is like "really?". I juz said no again an again, smiled and walked very fast away. After I came back from ATM, halfway, this guy came up to me again, this time with his luggauge put aside. He asked,"Are you from Indonesia? " "no, I'm a pure Singaporean." "Oh, i'm sorry but U really look like a fren of mine. By the way, I'm Andy, what's ur name?" Pause. "erm, Julia". "oh Julia~ well, I'm from Indonesia, but i live in Singapore. I studied in US and came here. So which company are u from?" "I am student." "oh oh erm.. ic~ So is there.. shall we, if any chance can we keep in contact with each other?" At this point of time, I was already outside swenson!!!! the rest of them already inside... i cant call for help... "Erm, nvm, its ok, no need." "We exchange phone numbers? can we? ok with u? can?" I had to keep saying NO NO NO NO!!!! Still in my forced smile, I waved him bye and turned to the waiter and went in to join my frens. I turned back to see him walked away... eeew.... scary, he's so persistent....

Finally we happily ate food, and the guys were damn hungry and they ate 2 dishes plus ice-cream. Me and ed ate the least amt of food. lol~ den we gave wm a slice of icecream cake and sang bdae song~~ whole cake too exp~ lol. Its the tots that count anyway. We chat ard and finally left. nice outing as usual~~ Well, I am the only gal in the group now. the other gals were all OVERSEAS!! Hey, why am i so stucked in singapore? ok la, i returned from UM trip anyway... ^^

Wed+Thurs: Fun stuff at work... 'Fun'.....
On wed, our boss came up to Ying and me after a meeting to ask us to pose for some scenes: walking through some art installations on the floor. He is going to use this art installations in a design i think, so they wanna show photos of ppl walking thru them... stepping thru them like wading etc etc blah blah.... at that time, ying wearing skirt, so colin said that's what he wanted and asked me to wear shirt on thurs too... and many other stuff i wont wish to mention la... but Ying was damn embarrassed. I think we haf to think twice on wearing skirt to office next time. So now we not only making models, but we are oso models ourselves... lol~~ so funny.

So today, thurs, we went to office both in skirts.... We spent some time walking ard 'gracefully' the installations which is made up of hollow square rings with 4 stands each. we haf to step into them in tip-toes... after walking ard and ard, we get dizzy and lose balance easily. After we are shown the photo printouts, me and Ying kept commenting on how fat our legs are and more determined to exercise.. haha, so I think i'm going jog during weekends... need ppl to motivate me though.

Hmm~~ so far like this bah~~ work is getting more relaxed and after being more familiar with the ppl there, it is more enjoyable now~ :)

2. AWWW so cute rite! Nice fur it has. Nice to touch. How i wish i can hold it in my arms and stroke it. It lookes like mouse + rabbit look. heehee so chubby~

1. We were crowding ard the chinchila cage to 'disturb' the animal.... haha yock with her funny face~

Weimin Bdae+2 bbq+Haircut!

Hmm too many things happening that I dun haf time to blog... well now.... let's start from fri~

Fri: Weimin bdae 'party' at his house
They planned to haf dinner at this muslim eatery in Bukit timah, opposite Beauty World. On that day, me and Ying were rushing the little pavilions like crazy. It is 6 of them, not 5. So by the time I left office, it was already 6 plus 7, abt there. Took 970 and with the help from many ppl and ah ba's detailed directions, coming to find them is an easy task~ heehee. Gab, Wm, Mei, Yk, Ed and Sel were already there and had finished their meal. After me, came yock, and the latest was Wk who had been rushing the munchkins cards like siao. Later we all set off to Wm's house. We had some walk before we reached his house.... by that time, my toes were in pain from blisters etc. Yeah, I was wearing a 2.5-3 inch heel shoe... anyway, we tot we were going to have nothing to play as no one brough games nor mahjong set.... but never do we expect that actually wm's house is very entertaining!! Once we stepped in, ah ba, mei and yock rushed to play the swinging seat... dunno wat u call that. The rest of us peeked at a tub of cute little turtles.. In the living room we laughed at the little wooden chair and a big black doggy beanbag/seat. Later we went in a room... seemed to be a library.... Alot of books and yock borrowed a number... However the best entertainer in this room was actually a cuddly Long2 Mao1 aka Chinchila!!!!!!!! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW soooo cute! I didnt know Long Mao actually existed... I tot the master animator Miyazaki created an animal Long Mao... ok... blame on my lack of knowledge. We spent some time playing with it by taking photos of it and touching its fur and tail that set it off running about in its cage.... lol. weimin was so scared of us, as if we were the terriorists of his animals in the house.

Later we watched tv and drank softdrinks, eating his tidbits etc... ahba and yk drank heineken again and poured some into Ed's cup and mixed with some green tea. Ed didnt know we played such a prank on him until he took a few sips and went, "Hey, the green tea tastes weird..." hahaha~~

Later we went to play Taboo~ quite fun to see how some ppl trying ways to describe the word and make the rest guess it... Soon, abt 11, its time for the gals to leave. The guys stayed in his house overnight i think. Duan li came too. After a photo taking session, the gals bid farewell.

Saturday: BBQ at Tutor's house
One of our design tutor Mdm Ng invited us for a bbq at her condo, so her ex and present studio ppl came. In the end, it turned out dat we were also celebrating an early bdae for her... awww, so sweet.... we had an 'Awfully Chocolate' cake! The photo is with Rudy... argh, haven get from him.

Sunday:BBQ at Pasir Ris
Actually in the afternoon, there's Cosfest (Cosplay) at Pasir Ris. Most of my anime club comm ppl went there... However, becos I haf to do an UM report and having hair cut and done, it was 7 plus when everything was settled.... But at least I am able to rush down there to celebrate one of the anime fren, Shilei's bdae bbq at one of the chalet there. Wah, another BBQ session. 2 bbq continuous..... one day after the next... gosh, i feeling fat. Qh is so nice to actually bake a cheesecake for her too~ aww.... making some of us gals feel inferior compared to him.... lol. Anyway, I ended up with alot of eating.... Now I weigh myself.... it seemed i gained 1-2 kg! Darn!!! I really need some ppl to pull me to exercise!!

Boss not ard, as he was in Morris for some project, so we had a long lunch with the whole staff. Finally we all get to sit ard and chat, and getting more familiar with one another.... now I feel happier~ But still, not the amt of pay... haha~ Well, as least today I get to do something different, not juz model making. I get to update some plans of 8 designs... ok la, quite messy to me... lol, but still, very nice and impressive~~

4th day~ no lunch!

hmm, as I haf said earlier that me and Ying had to complete 5 models by fri, we tried to at least finish 1 today as the boss will come in the afternoon to discuss abt the project and will need the model. so me and Ying pia like xiao.... very sleepy in the morning. we each brought our mp3 or hp to listen music. My batt went flat after some time, sian!! Musicless.....

Later, the supervisior came around and told us no need to make the interior walls.... den Ying was like "wat! u mean i wasted all my time and effort for nothing!?" that type of face. Ok, her voice and face may not show it, but I can feel how she feel. I think the supervisior knew too. so we were like smiling sheepishly to one another. But it is a good piece of news. That means it is much easier now, and confirm can finish 5 of them by fri.

So in order to complete 1 model to show, we 2 gals skipped out lunch.... I was like a rat which went to search food in the pantry area. I found some money chocolates and Julie's CHEESE cookies. Julie eating Julie biscuits.... And on my second trip, I found prawn strip crackers! hehe... Finally at evening we finished it and the staff ppl seemed to like it. They looked at it and said, "awww, so cute!" -_-.... haha positive comments...

Anyway, we went out of office slightly b4 6pm! yea! we did it! Anway becos me and minlee had to rush down to NUS to collect portfolio. For me, i collected half of it as it is too heavy.
ok, back at home.... and haven do my UM report to be handed up by today.... lol... die lar... Anyway, tml going out after work for WM bdae. yea!! i love outings~ ^^

2nd and 3rd day at work...

hehe, I didnt post about yesterday. So shall do it now. well Day 2 is much better becos the rush of that project was over as the presentation was yesterday. So yesterday we were juz helping out some new models, while the architect(boss) and his crew of designers etc all presenting their big project. Alot of foriegners came to the office, some wearing power suits. I think some of them came from Libya becos the project was about landscaping a few places in that country. They were discussing and giving comments here and there. Hmm there are few changes to be made but generally they praised the work and were very pleased with it. I heard that these clients are one of the few that the landscape architect respected. Oh well.... So we 'intern' students 'hid' at the side of the office doing our own work and listening to the presentation. What a live crit it is and it lasted for an hour or more.... tsk tsk. Not the hurried 15-30 min crit we had with tutors in sch.

Anyway, so Day 2 was more relaxed compared to Day 1, and not doing any tough work.... though I muz admit that cutting the 5mm double-side card foam board to make contours for a model really drain my energy. Left the office at 7pm... Hey still 1 hour OT lor....

Day 3....which is today... i think the staff here can take half day or full day off if they got do overnight in office each time. Since on my day 1, they rushed work for that presentation until 4am, they took leave for today. So only 3 staffs besides the 5 of us were present. So the office was quiet. Then me and Ying had to do 5 houses models.... think deadline is this fri. (BTW, me and Ying working on different stuff from the 3 other friends). The funny thing is, we had to get materials from Art Friend ourselves. So since we wanna start to work on them earlier, both of us hurried down to Art Friend by Taxi. It was abt 10 am when we reached bras basah complex.... den we saw the shop not opened... so silly of us to forgot abt opening hours... so we went to the food court there to drink or eat some breakfast stuff after some shopping in Popular. yea, got myself a new mech pencil... lost mine during UM trip.

When we went up at 10:50, the shop was already opened... so silly again, we didnt check their opening time and tot it opened at 11.... anyway, we were laffing and thinking wat the staff will wonder why we were taking so long to buy materials. Finally after more than 1 hr, we were back in office to work. At abt 1pm, we went out to eat lunch... lol...out again sia. The 5 of us (nus archi batch), met up with 2 others, each working at other places, to haf lunch together... so nice~

The rest of the afternoon was working on the models and models, nothing but models! Ying cut the plans out from the thick board until like crazy... me doing calculations for the complex double pitched roof and cutting the wood pieces out and gluing them together. So u see both of us screaming 'quietly' at each other and pulling hair. Cos Ying had to cut little gaps to fit walls in, which is so tiny and hard to do. And me, keep racking my brains and making many mistakes in drafting out the little roof pieces to cut. But in the end, things still work out la..... Abt 7:15pm we left office and Ying's Mum gave me a lift and dropped me near my house... yea~~ so nice~ as i mentioned b4, i like car lifts~ hehe.

Haha, how i wish everday can be like today, with not much ppl ard, can do our own work, listen to our own mp3 players and chit chat with one another while working. But i think not possible lar. The boss wanna see one of our model tomolo liao~ Me and ying haven finished a single one yet, ahhh! tomolo muz pia like crazy!! Ahhhh

OT on FIRST day of work

PS: Ed, u sure can pull me out of house to walk meh? i super super nua~ confirm no one can yi2 dong4 me. Anonymous is Yockie~~ haha i know, but den experience oso impt but i oso wan money, so greedy. BUT, we are not intern students going there. No sch sent us to them lor. They find ppl, we sign up. We should be a normal staff there, at least temporary staff.

Last night, I couldn’t really sleep…. The thought of losing freedom after Monday is rather reluctant…. Usually I haf many little gritty stuff to do like folding some wrapping papers, reading some books, drawing some stuff . But I always put them aside…. Lazy. But den last night I shut down my laptop at abt 12 plus to 1am, yet I have the sudden urge to do all those little things I wanna do. Maybe that thought of losing freedom made me freak out… or as though I am facing the last day of heaven like that…

Finally I went to bed… but I couldn’t sleep still…. And my mind started thinking of a lot of things on its own… lol… it touched on many many things, including things like regretting how callous I have been to some ppl’s feelings, and oso remembering suddenly that I haf click the wrong answer on Jov’s test (how-well-u-know-me test), and other other stuff….

Woke up this morning when this sudden hurricane-like storm and wind blew across Singapore. My windows shook, papers fly, plants toppled. So scary haha. Storm on first day of work… urgh. So cold.

Yea, me and a fren, Ying, helped out some model making stuff as they are piaing for presentation tomolo….. so we were being slaved… lol. Now my nails are destroyed. Optimistically speaking, I had nail art and finger art done on me…. Wah lao, can u imagine wearing office wear yet went to staircase area and do spraying? Can u imagine wearing office attire and doing some wood sawing? I muz laff at myself. AND oh my goodness, the indoor air quality is so bad as expected with so much volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air from all the spray paints, hair sprays!, glue, etc etc etc. So I get stuffy and abit running nose throughout most office hours. I pity my lungs most by sucking in all these pollutants. And yes, my brain too. These pollutants can affect brain too…. So by the time afternoon has come, I was wobbly already… cannot balance well…

But the only thing that is nice today is to know that Ying’s Dad opened a Japanese (high-class) restaurant in Amara Hotel. It is not those normal ones with those little sushi ones. Really different. So I oso get to eat Japanese delicacies (without paying)… lol, feel very paiseh. The cold tofu with super nice dressing and toppings on it as the first dish, and comes much more.... radish soup, eel/unagi, fried veggies, etc etc etc… OMG! I feel super xing4 fu2 (fortunate). ^^

As for dinner, I wanna go without it, but then the office ppl offered pizza, so I juz ate one slice to give face... (yes, abit hungry lar...) and pepsi drink... well.... food cannot bribe us!!

Okie, that’s abt it….. haiz~~~

PS: There's a very very chio thailand lady in office and Ying thinks she looks like Elva Xiao Ya Xuan except that this one is a natural beauty without make-ups. >.<

Working

Haiz, i think that archi firm is not going to call me already.... so too bad.
Then when i checked my email after many many days, I saw this email from another archi firm, but a ulu never-hear-b4 firm who wanna ask intern students to help do some models etc....
800 per month, so little! haiz.... somemore in Tanjong Pagar....After spending on travelling fees, I dont think there is much left over.

Only yesterday, I saw a fren's msn nick saying not to work in that place becos it is crappy. Omg.... I think I am in a deep shit. I am afraid I'm going to regret taking up this.... most probably the firm may use us young students to do crappy bo liao sai gang, aka rubbish tasks. DARN! And I haf to stick with this firm for 1 mth from this coming Monday onwards!!

Anyway, been lazy to move anywhere, that is, going out, unless there's major gathering... lol, indeed I am becoming a pig. yea, welcome me to the pig family then. haha~ all right, going out soon for a hour or so before coming back... haiz... sian sian sian sian.
