Good start for 24th~
Well, I have to start from CNY~ got a few more angbaos due to more visits this year... hhehe. But they are all used to counter my heavier expenses. I am contributing to household k, though I am juz interning.
I know work wise, things arent as smooth but I am doing proper assignments, so i am quite happy already. Den comes my bday. This year is alittle bit special. And this year I didnt get to celebrate with sixoneders. Cos we are so familiar with each other and met up so often last time that we can afford not to meet up during these occasions. Friendship is so strong that it doesnt equate to number of times to meet up. Anyway, all of us are busy with own issues and having own activities. Though I know it will be best if we can still up often.
Wednesday, 20th feb, lunch was heavy at Curry Flavour and late in evening office celebrated a colleague's and my bday with a cake. Yea we have the same birthdate. He didnt come to office that day and so we called him up at and shouted our singing through the phone! so funny!
At night I had a wonderful dinner at a Jap Shindo-art restaurant in East Coast Park... later was cake again! I had been eating all the time!
Finally on fri, some of us met up with our year 1 tutor at Crystal Jade. And I was surprised that they got me a cake after the dinner! Haha so full~~~
And yesterday, my archi studiomates celebrated my bday at Curry Flavour (haha I suggested). And yes, with a cake too! The presents are lovely, my frens got taste ^^ hehe thanks thanks.
I felt very fortunate for this start of the new year. Last year had been so terrible and so many things happened and I was also doubting my presence. So much so that I told everyone not to celebrate, or rather, I tried to hide away and not bothering people.... So this year, my most concerning issue is still my worth of a presence, whether people would remember me, or appreciate my existence and/or as a fren. Sorry, I am still a child who needs to be pampered at times. But for the past whole year, I have learnt to accept things when they juz dun wan to belong to u, or listen to u, to follow u or to like u. I can only do what I can, and somethings juz impossible to be forced. Let things go... a big lesson to learn.
Thanks to everyone who wishes me and given me sweet memories. I treasure them and I was really touched when so many ppl suddenly sms and msn me happy bdae right after clock struck 12. :) THankew~~~ *MUACKS*

Adults
Adults are dishonest.
Sometimes when you think they are good people, they turn out to be bad.
So sometimes when you think they are bad people, they turn out to be good.
How do we judge. How do we tell.
Everyone is dishonest.

New External HDD!!
Finally after months of thinking, I bought my first 3.5" external hard disk.
Seagate - Free Agent 320GB with 5 years warranty at a price of $159.
(picture from http://www.ipelagos.com)
Isn't it a beauty? I havent start it up yet but i think it will be lit up with those orange lights along the top and side edge. kool~ I didnt go for 500GB cos I dun think i need that much considering the fact that I will still be archiving my files into DVDs.
Recently my comp having a few problems... but now it is all ok i hope. Few weeks ago, the graphics card died, and during CNY my comp suddenly shut down as though someone switches off my power suppy suddenly.... So I went to get new power supply unit... then after installing it, either one fan not working or my comp doesnt start up.... haiz, so today during lunch hour I went to sim lim for the guy to solve it. And sun bian buy the external Hdd. My money keeps going sia but I hope soon it will start rolling in more! this year should have good money luck for the rats!
muack muack my comp and muack muack my new Hdd. I would like to muack all my hdds too. We are at mercy of these electronics and yet attracted to them as they are our friends who help us to create wonders :)

CNY: bits of memories
Just a few days before CNY, I spent a 25 hours marathon of spring cleaning starting from saturday night. And I found very interesting things that belonged to me when i was little.
Memo pads:
I found alot alot of small memo pads....with cute designs of cats and bunnies etc.... Indeed, such love for paper remains in me. I love organisers, etc etc.
Comics:
I started drawing many things especially comics since kindergarten..... and I witness once again how my drawings evolved from the time I juz started, all the way to wat it is now.... They are such valuable treasures that sew the timeline that I had gone through. I realised I drew so much and non-stop. I had so much perseverence and passion. I still have but time has allocated to many other things now. No matter how one is talented or not, no one begins with excellent work. It is through hard work as well. No one is spared.
Oh, I just watched "I Not Stupid 2" on tv.... It's not as funny as the first one but definitely more touching... And I feel that i am so lucky. I dun have that kind of parents who always scold me, I am also glad that I am a kid who can motivate myself and strive for the best. And I really want to thank the heavens for blessing me to excel in academic as well as with other abilities such as drawing. I dun mean i am the elite but at least compared to the average, i am on good grounds. There are times we face obstacles and failures... but to me, there is no absolute failures if we can stand up again and try.

The NUS Architecture Graduation Exhibition- "How does your garden grow?"
I am grateful and honoured that my Thesis Project is selected for this exhibition. Honestly speaking, the process had went through multiple changes, and many horrible late nights, stayovers in the computer studios, having Macs for almost every day towards submission period... Much worse is the physical tiredness, mental tireness and depression and all.... Every bit of progress is difficult, full of obstacles and never a smooth path. I won't be able to pull through without encouragement and help from friends and family. Thank you so much!
Opening Day
Date: Saturday, 13 Jun '09
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Iluma Urban Entertainment Centre
201 Victoria Street Singapore 188067, Level 7 (@Sky garden for the opening ceremony)

My Exhibition Installation @ NUS Museum, UCC - from 7 March to 7 May "Site, Spectator, Situation"
This exhibition project is collaborated among NUS Dept. of Architecture, University Scholar Programme(USP) and NUS Museum for my USP Final Year Project. The opening ceremony and presentation on 6 March was a success! Thanks to Noora (NUS Museum), Lilian Chee (Supervisor from Archi) and the departments for their support and those who turn up and those who visited my installation! :)
My installation is a collage of maps collected during my travels. It is a "Mind" map that existed in my mind based on experiences and memories of places. Hence, it's a cognitive map that is subjective to everyone. Hopefully, this installation will be placed somewhere else later and I'll inform you if it happens. If you drop by UCC, feel free to take a look!
3 other students' works are at NUS Arts Canteen, Kampong Glam and lastly in Museum (level 1).

Kaleidoscope 2007 Exhibition 27-28th Oct 2007
@ Suntec-MY. PLAYGr0und
It was kinda rush as I only had a sunday to colour up the whole thing. Thanks to my anime friend who encouraged me all the way as I felt like giving up halfway several times then. There are other students and studios participating in this exhibition, such as Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS). Many wonderful artworks. Hopefully more NUS ppl take part!!
