Handbags shopping!!!
Recently been looking at handbags.... wanted to get a smaller handbag for all occasions. And I fell in love with one. Comoditee brand.
In fact I own quite a few Comoditee stuff. I love the design and cut for some of them. Of cos I have an eye for details and always thinking of maintance issue in future. so i'm picky~
I looked at some of GUESS bags etc. I think those on sale but still 3-digit price are too bling-bling for me.... I dun like too many metal studs, and all the elaborated skin textures.... it all depends on how u use the skin texture and also personal preferences. But I know these branded handbags should be more lasting and there are many efforts in their details. Well, but not my type and I aint rich haha.
There are other stuff like DKNY etc are nice but I have limited budget haha. In fact Comoditee is going pretty up class, they have a new section called Como that showcases genuine leather and nice details... But 3-digit price~~ haha.... So far I love all my Comoditee stuff. So after i bought this nice handbag with nice fabric print and black silver for metal part (normal silvery coated metal can easily turn dirty and very obvious) yesterday, I wanted to get another but bigger Tote bag for sch use, saw one for $31 after OG discount.... but i knew i bought a tote bag last year liao, pretty new and waiting to be used in the new sch term, juz that the handle too short to put on my shoulders.... :( So I restrained from buying another bag lor. Then I bought a comoditee key pouch.....
And worst, after that I got this free gift of getting a real pearl dug from the huge oyster in front of you. Previous time I got a small puny pink pearl so i heck. This time I am luckier, got a pretty huge one and the colour is damn nice, orangy pink so in the end I was tempted to make a pendent from it. Yea... another 40 bucks fly~ so total I spent ard 85 yesterday. Goodness but I am happy. Now i need to get titanium coated necklace chain for the pendant.
New Artcraft for Julie~
Hehe.... someone was trying to make Origami rose for me... and told me abt it~ Curious, I went to search online for the instructions but I can only handle the most basic, easiest one.... the standard rose. It becomes pretty fun to do~~ I started with a big piece of paper, then smaller ones. Hmm good idea for making decos for my boxes and other gift wraps. hehe... hopefully u guys will see them in the future artcraft stuff i do. sweet!

OMG!!! I juz realised this..... I am trying to search for Graphite 2008 Manga competition that is organised by my anime club. I intend to take part in it. I realised that after i type "Graphite 2008 Manga Competition" in Google search..... My blog appeared 2nd on the list due to "Manga". OMG!

Dreams
I have weird one but delightful one yesterday night.
Very fairytale i would say.
Somehow I befriended 2 female elves and 1 very magical horse-like animal, who accompanied me on the journey to this castle to take part in cooking compeition. And the first round was to make a light breakfast (starter) dish within a limited time.
I think I prepared 3 stacks of eggs )bottom two are like scrambled egg white then egg yolk. So the top layer is a perfect pretty sunny side up, half done. So it's smooth and runny abit. Den quicky i put some slight sweet&sour sugared candy bits sprinkled around. Somehow I was praised by the judges and got into the 2nd round. That's the end. I woke up, pretty puzzled and bewildered at such dreams..... too fairytale. I dun wish to know how I fare at the further tests. U know, I sucks at cooking... at least I am a super greenhorn at it. Nevertheless, a happy one for the day :)

Past, Present and Surrounding

Waves are coming!
hmm... when life suddenly had huge waves coming, many things started rolling. Takes abit of time to accustom and accept new changes.

Counselling
This year I can be part time counsellor, i would be a few hundred bucks richer... hhaha
First was colleague, the other one is.... a fren.
Last night, I realised I am bewildered by the behaviour of the fren.... abit speechless.... I think i want to give up. And I am sleeping so late for it, sacrificing my essay, and the other party is not sincerely thinking of what I am saying.... sadly.... no self-referencing and reflecting on his part which makes it so difficult.... luckily I am not on the verge of puking blood yet...
Finally I slept all the way to 1pm.... I guess I am used to sleeping with a pile of problems then sleeping with happiness. I think I am losing touch of it so much so that it is too surreal for me to grasp.
Argh back to my essaayyyyyY!!!!!!!!
Neutral
I did not have the problem of falling asleep since dunno when but last night i had it. sian
It wasnt sad, it wasnt happy, but things to sort out. I wonder if i have done correctly. But certainly to clear doubts first. And that is impt for me as well. I can forsee some problems and issues to work on already... it's a challenge.... maybe i shouldnt be so stressed out first...
Nothing is perfect from the start.... *sheepish grin* this is life. Nothing is gained without putting effort in this world.

End of Internship (full time)
Last Fri was the end of my internship. I offered to do part-time if needed. And we had decided to go to Keppel Bay's PRIVE restaurant for dinner, partly also as my farewell dinner.... So everyone wore pretty stuff and me in my heels...the highest for my own record. And never do we expect that Boss asked if we want to go to Sentosa Cove to see our construction sites.... Not willing to miss this chance, me and hon went there. She in her dress... and me in my heels. I am the most wrong... cos footwear is important there. I am sure everyone including boss and workers were laughing at me when they see me in this state. And so in the first site, I fell. Didnt notice the floor trap... so now my left feet is slightly sprained.
After dinner, elita and hon gave me a present.... a necklance with rubber choc as the pendant.... but when i touched it, it was smeared with real choc!!!! For a while I tot it was real choc and later they told me it was my boss who did it as a prank.....awww so cute and funny!!
These days been at home, doing usp essay and watching 超级星光 Season 3 online... haha~
Early this morn, my sis and her best fren flew off to Japan~ i also want to go!!!!!!! >.<
I really need to stop snacking so much and start exercising!!! (after my feet recovers)

Outings~
So many things are happening since last week. as in gatherings etc.
Last wed was public hols eve, and happened to be last day of internship for some of my archi frens. I went off early to meet andrew, ch, ros for RSP movie outing - Ironman. The movie was good in terms of the process of the Ironman suit. It shows that heros are not juz born but created over many trials and error. And yes the whole movie showed off the wonderful technology that existed in his house. Damn cool la! I wish I have those things too~~~~>.<
After that we had late dinner at Rocher street. Al and Ying joined us later. Ros left for home. We ended up going Keppel Bay to take a look at the bridge den deciding the area is pretty boring for us, we went to Sentosa Cove to look at some houses that our offices had designed. It was close to 1am lor.... And the worse thing is we walked one huge loop around this sentosa cove while trying to get back to Ying's car. Damn shag, sweating under the wind-less warm night, as we walked for more than 1 hr..... Later went off to Jurong area for a drink near Al's house. When i reached home, it was 4am lor!!! SHAGG!!!!
Next day afternoon I went out with some of them again to buy a bagpack for yt, the bdae gal then. We walked the whole afternoon before having some light food at Waterloo street in Bugis... Later we dispersed while me and al went Queensway to look for Al own bagpack. Sat we celebrated her bday at this resturant Food#03 at Farrer Park.....not bad, small cosy place for us. Many hoohaas happened.... and in the end we had ml falling into a deep drain outside the shop.... her poor leg and toes... Next day me and yt visited her at her house... surprised to see her leg all bandaged up.... >.< but it was a good afternoon chitchatting :) feels really like hols....

The NUS Architecture Graduation Exhibition- "How does your garden grow?"
I am grateful and honoured that my Thesis Project is selected for this exhibition. Honestly speaking, the process had went through multiple changes, and many horrible late nights, stayovers in the computer studios, having Macs for almost every day towards submission period... Much worse is the physical tiredness, mental tireness and depression and all.... Every bit of progress is difficult, full of obstacles and never a smooth path. I won't be able to pull through without encouragement and help from friends and family. Thank you so much!
Opening Day
Date: Saturday, 13 Jun '09
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Iluma Urban Entertainment Centre
201 Victoria Street Singapore 188067, Level 7 (@Sky garden for the opening ceremony)

My Exhibition Installation @ NUS Museum, UCC - from 7 March to 7 May "Site, Spectator, Situation"
This exhibition project is collaborated among NUS Dept. of Architecture, University Scholar Programme(USP) and NUS Museum for my USP Final Year Project. The opening ceremony and presentation on 6 March was a success! Thanks to Noora (NUS Museum), Lilian Chee (Supervisor from Archi) and the departments for their support and those who turn up and those who visited my installation! :)
My installation is a collage of maps collected during my travels. It is a "Mind" map that existed in my mind based on experiences and memories of places. Hence, it's a cognitive map that is subjective to everyone. Hopefully, this installation will be placed somewhere else later and I'll inform you if it happens. If you drop by UCC, feel free to take a look!
3 other students' works are at NUS Arts Canteen, Kampong Glam and lastly in Museum (level 1).

Kaleidoscope 2007 Exhibition 27-28th Oct 2007
@ Suntec-MY. PLAYGr0und
It was kinda rush as I only had a sunday to colour up the whole thing. Thanks to my anime friend who encouraged me all the way as I felt like giving up halfway several times then. There are other students and studios participating in this exhibition, such as Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS). Many wonderful artworks. Hopefully more NUS ppl take part!!
