Webcasts and more webcasts! and interesting stuff...
haha, thanks to all of u for consoling me abt the URA thing... I'm feeling better abt it liao~ heehee
Well, like mei said in her blog, u tend to post random things during exams cos feeling sian and all etc.... yea, so I'm going to say bits and pieces here and there. oh, but they are pretty interesting stuff that came to my mind or had happened.
These few days I was watching my SEA (Southeast Asia) history and theory webcasts.... total 9 lectures.... haiz... I tried to pia/chiong them thru the day and night but I always feel like dozing off halfway... also, my concentration (like all other humans) lasts for a few hours only for such a subject. I always not very good in listening to history stuff. So in-between breaks I would play Conquer juz to hit a few bandits to vent my boredom etc. After I was awake den I would go back to study/ watch webcasts. I was using such method all the way til last night. At ard 4 plus am, as usual, tot I could kill abit b4 going back to study but this time I was caught up with something... met this young gal inside the game.... and she juz wan me to tok to her etc... She even begged me to stay on abit more.... and yes, u know I am always too soft-hearted at such and would surrender under those stuff... yea my weakness.... so in the end wasted some time with her... but ok lar, if u view it another way, it is not waste.... but still....
Oh, one thing: she's surprised that I, a Singaporean, can speak English. Apparently, the Americans are still not aware of some things.... Or rather not taught much about the Asia civilisations or cultures. I have to tell her that English is our main language.... Chinese/Mandarin is the 2nd lang..... Hmm..... It reminded me of 6 years ago, when I was in the States, my American roommate told me she tot Singapore is part of China/M'sia. Hmm...... *sweat sweat sweat* Things have not changed for the better after so many years, have they? That proves that they are not exposed to the world enuff... but well cant blame them. Singapore is such a tiny, insignificant country in their eyes.... on the outer picture, it is their education curriculum tt plays a part.
Anyway, she's a very very very interesting person! aha, a typical western young gal. Very interesting... maybe typical to their culture but not to the culture here i think... dunno if u get wat i mean. She's friendly of cos, open (VERY open) and shuang kuai abt some stuff..... ahaha, I haf to restrain myself from showing too much
amusement and shock. hahahahaha....... u get wat i mean? no? nvm. But the mood was spoilt by some PK-er.... a stranger who juz came and killed me........ so that gal wanted to revenge for me by attempting to kill him but I told her to forget it. juz leave such idiotic person alone ba.... haha she's pretty sweet in wanting me to be her fren throughout the game. nice hor. Of cos I agree la. but think I'll be amused all the time by her...... Later that guy came again to pk her and we juz ran like crazy.... All right, ard 6 am I told her I really gtg, so that ended pretty nice... So I decided today I WILL NOT TOUCH the game anymore until this paper is over. I had tot it wld help me to kill some boredom away but ended up meeting ppl ... wasting some time.... Not that I am mean and anti-social, u know that is not me, juz that now is not the time for such.

Ahh lets change topic .... I discovered something abt myself...... that was when I went to haf my haircut. Actually, it always happened but juz that the latest trip made me realised the interesting part of it. Normally when u poke ppl at the sides, it is often itchy or ticklish watever rite? For me, no exception but not as much as some people... usually wat I feel is pain... my ribs are there wat.... but there's SOMETHING that really make me jerk and jump up. So it all happened in the hairdresser shop... Everytime they wash my hair, when the water ran down along my ears. I couldnt help it but felt the nerves at my sides (where u poke ppl) very very ticklish. Uncontrollably I would juz JUMP up (while lying down). or jerk up. all the ppl who washed my hair would always get a shock, cos i juz keep squirming and jerking and they tot what was going on... I always had to explain to them..... haiz.... ops another of my weakness exposed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Woke up in early afternoon today... I wish I could have woken up earlier though... After lunch, I would love to look outside my window.... the air smells neutral.. sometimes refreshing. Looking at the carpark below.... and found some drivers extremely expert in parking while some are not.... The sound of cars and people walking. Suddenly my yearn for going to countryside places overseas come back again... I wonder what will I hear, feel, smell watever over there. Will I be hearing the women washing the streets and doorsteps outside their houses, seeing smoke churning from chimneys, sound of carpenters working and smell of bread from the bakeries, rustling from leaves and smell of berries and fruits on trees and market.... aww...... STOP! haiyo... muz stop thinking.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
rite.... tomolo's my first paper, gotta be more serious. yea....
Don't know if this is related, but sometimes while I am halfasleep, and thinking of playing a soccer game, sometimes my legs would jerk as if I am really kickinga ball...i guess that is reflex ba. Oh, and what's up with the descriptive at the end? Too...emotive?
