Waiting...
hmm, today is the
Opening Ceremony. Me and bren were ones of the ushers... and 2 of us were sent to the lift there... so hot... no aircon~ standing there was so tiring so we sat at the bench and looked at the lift number. Once it reached 4th floor, we both wld quickly went back to our standing positions and put on our smiles... lol.... so comical~ when there's no one, we wld chit chat... ahh~~ feel peaceful and relaxing... haven't have chance to breathe since exams ended.
Later one of us had to go in the lecture room while the other one stayed at the lift. So i volunteered to be at the lift and told bren that since she's so tired den she go back to the room lor. I was told that after 15 min, I can then go back to the lect room... so I waited and waited by myself... looking at the lift.... singing songs to myself.... not much ppl came up leh, think they used staircases at the other side. haiz.... during the waiting moment, I was thinking abt some stuff.... thinking y so often in my life, I always end up
waiting for stuff... for many things. haiz, is it becos i am such a tolerant person?... or patient person?...am i? or that my limit of tolerance is relatively high... i dunno. But all i can say is... i only have determination and ... hope. maybe i am one who dun force things but let it comes... i only create if needed be. I always choose to put myself in the position to watch and wait or juz.... i dunno.... maybe used to it... some things are lost, some things are too late. some things need to go and try, yet it still dun work. End up wait or sometimes forced to let it go. LOL, sorry~ another abstract talking again... dunno if anyone can understand wat i am thinking or wanting to say behind all these.... haha.... those who can, u are 'shen' or maybe u are thinking the wrong thing. lol~~ *evil laughter* hohoho.
haiz.... think i cannot finish the
VSA book thing. and I haven start packing.... yep i know, left 1 day liao... still got lectures these days from morn to evening. i am so messed up. and nothing is happy enuff to cheer me up. *floops on the floor* so tired.... dunno y feel like not so excited abt going to the trip le... cos i haven settle down properly after exams... well, i know i will in the end enjoy my stay in ma'sia. yep~ (lol, some of us wanna go zouk in KL.... oh no, shall i camp myself in studio in the sch to msn chat that night or follow them? i dun like such places.... but haha think in the end i will follow la, scared of being left in the studio alone... lol.... yar rite.)
I juz took out my
big luggage.... the US tags and the continental flight tag i took last time were still there.... looking at them brought back some memories... neither happy nor sad... dunno y feel abit.... hmm solemn? or juz 'haiz'-provoking. nvm. hmm, long time didnt use it... so had to wipe and let the fan blow at it for some time first b4 i put stuff in... oh man, i think my packing will take hours and hours! tml still have lectures the whole day.
Today after lectures, I went ard bugis and got myself abit
lost many times. First, trying to get to suntec from parco bugis.... which later i got help from a couple who was going there too. Second, in carrefour trying to get socks and den go cashier to pay... i cant find the cashiers... and shocked to find myself walking in one big round... wat is happening to me... maybe too tired until cant be bothered to know my directions, ended up haf to walk more and tired out more. oh man, I asked for it. I am so dumb. A laughing-stock architect...
gosh my room and table in a
mess... everything in a mess, many work undone... i dun wish to think abt it manz... urgh....kk, i better stop complaining.

The NUS Architecture Graduation Exhibition- "How does your garden grow?"
I am grateful and honoured that my Thesis Project is selected for this exhibition. Honestly speaking, the process had went through multiple changes, and many horrible late nights, stayovers in the computer studios, having Macs for almost every day towards submission period... Much worse is the physical tiredness, mental tireness and depression and all.... Every bit of progress is difficult, full of obstacles and never a smooth path. I won't be able to pull through without encouragement and help from friends and family. Thank you so much!
Opening Day
Date: Saturday, 13 Jun '09
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Iluma Urban Entertainment Centre
201 Victoria Street Singapore 188067, Level 7 (@Sky garden for the opening ceremony)

My Exhibition Installation @ NUS Museum, UCC - from 7 March to 7 May "Site, Spectator, Situation"
This exhibition project is collaborated among NUS Dept. of Architecture, University Scholar Programme(USP) and NUS Museum for my USP Final Year Project. The opening ceremony and presentation on 6 March was a success! Thanks to Noora (NUS Museum), Lilian Chee (Supervisor from Archi) and the departments for their support and those who turn up and those who visited my installation! :)
My installation is a collage of maps collected during my travels. It is a "Mind" map that existed in my mind based on experiences and memories of places. Hence, it's a cognitive map that is subjective to everyone. Hopefully, this installation will be placed somewhere else later and I'll inform you if it happens. If you drop by UCC, feel free to take a look!
3 other students' works are at NUS Arts Canteen, Kampong Glam and lastly in Museum (level 1).

It was kinda rush as I only had a sunday to colour up the whole thing. Thanks to my anime friend who encouraged me all the way as I felt like giving up halfway several times then. There are other students and studios participating in this exhibition, such as Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS). Many wonderful artworks. Hopefully more NUS ppl take part!!
