Tea Party@6th Avenue with classic lines!
Due to the interim of other studios, our tutor managed to come and see our work at 7 plus pm.... yea, very late... and we were all hungry. By the time we finished our consultations with him, it was 9 plus and we all headed to 6th Avenue to celebrate Jy's upcoming bdae which is tml~
The waiting for pizzas was damn long, i think abt 30 mins.... sian... and when they came, we ate them like monsters. And the most amusing part about this dinner is our conversations or content of speech during the mission of cutting up each pizza into 12 pieces. It was very classic conversation, and some of us contributed a few sentences here and there.
I think the conversation is most understood for those who uses cadding softwares like autocad etc, otherwise one will not understand the full joke but i think the idea is pretty obvious to all la. There will be archi related terms inside too. I think I may missed out one or two stuff, this is wat I can recall as much as possible. If I miss out anything, do let me know!! ok it goes like this:
Ch was given the assignment to cut up the pizza. And so he started by trying to make the cutting of the halves equal. Impatient, Jing said:
"You know, you should
snap first, u know,
snap to centre den cut from that centre point"
Ch pondered and used knife to slightly cut the surface into halves and replied:
"No, you need to draw
guideline first mah"
so I added:
"huh, u mean u need
polar tracking issit..."
Laughter filled the room.
Ying added:
"Omg, what lousy
programme is this!..."
More laughter!!!
Ch continued to divide each quarter into thirds and Jing was dismayed at his judgement of division.
"hello, wrong liao la, the
angle is not even correct lor."
Jing not only QC-ing ch's cutting but also helping to turn the dish as he cut.
"eh, hello where got this programme so good har, not only help Qc-ing but also auto-
rotate lor!"
Ying: "wah! Auto
UCS!!!" (ucs here refers to the x,y,z pointer of the drawing screen)
Uncontrollable laughter!
At a point of time, Jing cannot resist herself but ate up a piece of cabbage as ch doing the cutting.
Ying: "wha! Still got auto delete
layer!!!"
Omg.... this is all madness.... haha
Right, this is such classic and amusing conversations that u can only find among archi students. aha... erm dunno what else I missed out. Any contributors pls let me know ya~
This weekend will be dreading to us but let us remain cheerful :)
u all cad too much liao.... =P
hahaha i think itz actually quite funny how u all link all these with work =P
