Overdose with shows :p
Fri night after work, I set off to Ying's house at Bishan. It is great that it's near my office.... only 4-5 mrt stations away. I managed to reach right at her doorstep without getting lost!! Yay~~ ok la, it was quite easy... with her instructions of cos~ she sketched a simple plan for me via msn k~~ hehe
At first we spent our time eating and chatting~~ There were like 17-18 ppl k~~ wah ahahaha like some kind of occasion. Ying claimed that her house is the HQ of our gatherings! wah sia~ Anyway, we started watching "Notes on a scandal" (not sure if that is the correct title) which talks about an old lady who is a lesbian! And how she preys on young pretty ladies in school.... they said it's a disturbing show.... ok la, i was expecting more weird weird scenes but nothing very interesting.... awwww... anyway I was playing mahjong at the same time la. I only managed to win one round out of 3 rounds.... then I stopped already. We had tow huay from Rocher (Aud helped to da bao for us), and chewy something that Ailing bought for us. All so delicious!! Den phototaking!! Followed by leaving of a few people. In the end, around 11 people stayed over. We spent our time watching dvds..... And one of the movies was brought by wenjun, titled "3 Needles". It talked about blood infection at 3 different places. Hence 3 different stories about it. First one about donation of blood.... which is run by one chinese gal..... and how one guy searched for help in Shanghai... to save the whole village after the gal ran away when she knew things went wrong. The second one about AIDs and irresponsibility of some ppl when they transmitted it.... In the end the mother of that guy sacrificed herself by getting insurance and tried getting AIDs, so that she could get alot of money from insurance to let her son lived comfortably for his last few years... Finally about 3 nuns helping out in African villages.... And one of the young pretty nuns had to sacrifice her virginity, risking her salvation in order to get help from this rich guy to fork out huge amt of money to save the villages. All these stories portray the ugly side of man and at the same time, shows that how disasters etc can bring out the best in man in order to help the others. Very meaningful and touching but.... after watching, u feel *sigh* that kinda mood.... abit sad though.
Next, someone tried to show a movie, something like Glory of War? Not sure the title but when we see the starting with clips of black and white, showing scenes of history-like thing..... we were totally disgusted. Too much of depressing stuff liao!! So I suggested watching Beauty and the Beast!! hehe, I havent watch this before, so is Andrew. I think there are more ppl lor.... So it is more light-hearted and romantic~~~ After that we tried to search the tv channels again, and we came across animes like School Rumble!! But it ended after a few minutes.....so we ended up at a channel showing an episode of "Er4 Zhuo4 Ju4 Zhi1 Wen3". I watched b4 liao but nice to see again. However somehow halfway, I dun remember anymore cos I fell asleep.... it was 6 plus.... The next moment that I opened my eyes was 8:30am already... gheez~ I was woken up by alot of laughter around... Dunno what happened but anyway, rise and shine~~ And all of us went off to Junction 8's Ya Kun Toast for breakfast. Finally we set off for home. Hehe~~ Very fun stayover when u have alot of people together! But too bad I didnt get to play much of mahjong....
So sunday I spent my time at home playing games and packing my accessories.... too lazy to move my butt from the chair ahahha~~ all right, this coming week is going to be very busy.... jialat! i dunw wanna work!!!!!! :( hehe~~
i wanna play mahjong too...
we shld haf one starting from early noon. or morn. think start at night = overnight stay, which i think abit mafan for most of us cos some may need to go back office next day etc....~
