Year 2015
- Pencil Drawing “Young Memories” featured in American art magazine, “Strokes of Genius 8”. Oil Painting “Simple. Happiness” exhibited at “SG50 National Day Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition 2015”, organized by Ngee Ann Cultural Centre Ngee Ann Kongsi. Oil Painting “Sri Mariamman Temple in Chinatown, Singapore” selected for “Arising Star” FASS Artists Grand Art SG50 Exhibition, organized by the Federation of Art Societies (Singapore). Oil Paintings "Her Family" and "Still Life No.3 - Together with Joy" selected for "Blossom and Flourish" Singapore National Women's Art Exhibition 2015 (in conjunction with the celebration of SG50), organized by the Federation of Art Societies (Singapore).

Year 2008
- 2nd Prize Winner for Open Character Design Digital Category in Graphite 2008 competition. Exhibition and Prize Ceremony held with Anime Festival Asia 08 at Suntec Hall, 22 Nov.
- Exhibited individual installation for team exhibition “Site, Situation, Spectator” collaborated among Department of Architecture, University Scholar Programme and NUS Museum. Installation is exhibited in NUS Museum.

哭
今年来我哭得最多。。。
前半段都是因别人而哭，
因而为自己而哭。
现在的后半段
还是因为别人而哭
也为了新环境而哭
因而更加为自己哭
也为家人而哭
今年过得真得很痛苦
怎么会有这么多烦恼
连绵不断地挤满一整年
today i managed to tok to someone nice who confirmed a few things with me. I totally see the true colours beyond the white walls. I see the real world. We always say we know real world is like this like that. but when u are totally involved in it, and the worse thing is u didnt realised until so long... it is still a very enlightening, or surprising feeling.... I really really very 灰心 aka gek sim and lose hope. I cant believe background and culture can do such a difference. And due to many other factors... i am totally fighting a losing battle. in fact, i dun seem to have the rights to fight against.
The show will go on... I will try to make the best out of situation.... even though everyday can be so piercing painful that i have to tear every night. My eyes are always wet. I am so exhausted... so let me sleep when i need to.... it is the only time my brain can rest a while and my eyes to stop tearing.

Dear Julie,
I know it's no point telling you not to feel upset because no matter how much you know this is the 'real' world as you put it, it still hurts.
Do know, however, that you do have friends outside of that circle of people. And as friends, we appreciate you and cherish you for who you are, regardless of culture or background. it's pointless to force yourself to change for the environment/people because it's just fake and well, it will simply suggest you have no personality of your own if your personality is so malleable.
Anytime you feel upset and need to talk, please just call me k? i'm awake a lot nowadays, so don't worry about disturbing me. :)
You are who you are and that is what makes you Juliana. Just be glad to have seen the real world and live the Juliana in you well!
