MIAing
yes yes I know I have been MIAing... cos too much work .....
thesis, freelance, etc etc... and I'm struggling.
During this period of time many things have happened and many thoughts have been running in my head and i am back to the nocturnal timing.
Firstly, I've decided that I am not suitable to be anyone's partner at this period of time. Or rather both not suitable... and timings are always wrong and I find that I am struggling and suffocating in trying... so for everyone's sake and fairness, it will be better for us to remain as friends, at least no feelings will be hurt and more room for forgiving. No more expectations will also mean no more unpleasantness. So maybe things will be better that way.
Secondly, I've been yearning to go overseas such as Japan to work.... But I guess that is still daydreaming... but as "The Fool", I'm always very serious in my daydreaming...
Thirdly, I've been engrossing in animes.... and mangas.... they are my drugs or ecstasy pills. shucks how to spell... anyway. I'm "drugged" in that sense but I feel happy then... and when back to reality it's so painful. I am rebelling the reality. I am rebelling it in my mind and in the things I am doing... i think in the end I will end up hurt.
Last sat (or issit last last sat), I went to watch an animation film "Freedom Project" organised by Animation Nation at Fusionpolis with my alumni anime frens. The movie is damn nice. I love the effects and the opening song until they stuck in my head for several days. But the thing that disturb me is that the lead character guy looks like a client of mine.... it makes me very pissed, cos reminded me of the mannerism. ha ha ha~
ok back to work again.... haiz.....I feel like I am sleeping 24/7....
Girl, I don't think it's foolish to dream of going to Japan to work. I have a senior who, after getting his degree (and it's a 1st class honours mind you), did freelance work for a year then went to sign up for an animation diploma and now he's a happy animator in Japan.
Dreams are there not just to entertain us you know, they are there to drive us. For without the ability and yearning to soar, what are we but empty hollow shells?
I, too, have 'silly' dreams. You have no idea how many people have told me that my desire to do a PhD is stupid or that my research interests are totally useless. And honestly most people won't understand why I want to do things that I want to do. But you don't live for these people. Friends are those who support you (not blindly of course), who give you their opinion but who do not impose their values upon you. Just because they don't understand and they think differently doesn't mean I must conform to their values. It's my life and living it for other people is just not going to do myself justice.
So similarly, strive for your dream. I know it seems hard and sometimes you wonder why you want to put yourself through all this crap but really, it's you living for yourself, k?

I agree with yock.
Day-dreaming will always be a dream until you make it happen. Strive for what you want~!!!!!
yah, you see, to make my point, I posted the same comment twice! (Actually I did that accidentally but I couldn't find the delete comment button... ano~)
thanks gals, but i think my family will kill me...
oh yock, which animation diploma did he take?but he already know jap rite?
ok i help u delete the extra post ba :)
he took it at 3D Media sense. think he learnt Jap on his own too la. can learn one if you wanna.
just make sure you won't be a financial burden to your family if you do this ba. I don't think they will kill you la.... but they might not understand that's true. as long as you don't burden them, that might help somewhat?
