Sunday's Sunburnt and Injuries~ + Mon's Aching + Studio 1 outing = Happening sia
Woo sunday (yesterday) was so tiring, alot of things happen but rather happy.
Sunday at around 9am, I got onto bus 198 to head for NUS's courts to play basketball with my JC frens. I met ahba on the bus. We are the two early birds. I planned the others to come early to the bus stop to sign ed's card. Hence we told ed 9:30 instead of 9. However, wait and wait and no one else came. Weimin went into NUS instead and Mei was stuck on the roads, hence me and ahba went to the courts first. Ahba was pumping his bball when suddenly we spotted Ed coming from the other end!!!!! Darn!!! He's so clever!!! Y he knew we were inside already and where we were and found his own way here without sms-ing or calling us first!!!! why why why.... We were in the 'shock' state and there goes my plan... The rest still not here. So Ed and ah ba went to the toilet to change clothes, and this was when Weimin managed to reach the courts and he saw the 2 of them in toilet. He quickly came out first and came to the court and signed the card. Ok so far successful. Left mei liao.... Finally me and wm spotted mei coming! yea yea! den...behind her were ed and ahba.........ok............
Finally we all gathered, yk would come much later. While the guys were rolling the water away from the wet court, mei wrote the cards and I hid her. Suddenly ed popped in and we managed to bluff him by saying signing someone else's card. heehee.... Finally we began our game in the half court.... Long time no exercise so I am the first to feel super tired. Cant shoot well oso. After some time, Mei's bf came and he's good as expected haha. Later he was my 'coach', teaching me how to shoot. The rest oso started giving me alot of instructions.... haha so paiseh but so funny. I bet those other guys playing at the other courts would laugh at me and they see this funny scene. Xh's ball always kenna stuck at the net and the guys would always try to jump and slap it down. Sadly, I tried to jump and slap it too but I couldnt reach... I slapped it so hard that now my right arm and elbow are aching. Haha can u imagine when I kept shooting the ball to practice and the guys kept slapping to get the ball down. so funny!
Oh yes I must mention the
injuries we've got then. At first, ahba was trying to chase after the ball when it bounced off the court into the grass. However there's this muddy patch at the side, so xh slipped and fell. Gosh.. his right arm and elbow got scratched, pretty long ones too. Den his right knee had a 'hole' and blood kept oozing out from it... scary but as usual ah ba acted like nothing happened. Later a few times, my left fingers kenna bent outward while catching the ball. so my middle two fingers are hurting until now. Think a few days are needed for the pain to go off. The joints of my fingers are red now. Lucky not swollen. In the later part of the game, weimin was chasing and dribbling the ball when suddenly he got into an awkward pose and his right ankle kenna sprained abit.... so ed attended to him .... wm afterwards still ran abit here and there and we kept nagging at him for that. haha. And lastly, during the last break, the guys except wm went to vending machine and dispenser to get more water/drinks. Me and mei were resting at the side, abit behind and underneath the net. wm were shooting the ball and running by himself again... Suddenly when I was about to drink from my water bottle, i received a big whank on my head at the left. I could hear the ringing resonance of the vibration in my head, and my teeth sank into my lips. Blood..... salty.....3 holes and later got swollen.
Finally ard 12 plus, we ended the game and rest abit before we washed up and changed clothes. After that, we decided to go Holland V to haf our lunch. We got into this eatery place and yk immediately went toilet and sun bian wrote ed's card. Heehe. Mei recommended the horfun and I really agree that the stall's horfun is very very tasty! The chicken is damn good too! haha finally I've eaten some non processed food. My dish was Oyster sauce chicken Hor fun. Yes I made myself silly again: the board wrote "O. sauce chicken Hor fun", so I asked the rest what is O sauce..... How I know it means oyster sauce.....The owner so lazy, 'oyster' oso dun wan to spell whole thing.... use a captial O letter.... of cos i dunno lor.... :p
After that we went to Brecko (or is it Breko??), I didnt order anything.... cos lips pain and I'm full. The rest ordered things like drinks and finger food such as crumbled scallop and potato wedges. We chat and chat again.... Finally we decided many things. One of them is the plan for xmas eve outing and stayover. We decided it at ed's new house in Sembawang~ haha, going to play mahjong etc. Finally we presented Ed's card and present. We bluffed him it is a xmas tree (mini one). And he dunno whether to believe us ornot. Haha, finally he opened it and it is a Casino watch~~ bro spoiled our plans abit by smsing him to ask him if he liked the present even before we gave it to ed... haiya~~~~
At 3:45pm, we all headed home, me and ahba took 198 back. At that time, my headache got abit better. Ever since that bang on the head, I had this twitching and blobbing pain in it everytime i shook my head alittle.
I got home, quickly bathed and went out again for my Archi studio farewell dinner for this Korean exchange guy in our studio. Headache got worse whenever I climbed the bridge or staircase. Anyway, when I reached Orchard at 6:45pm, damn crowded and we waited for everyone else to come and headed to Pacific Plaza's The Gapz. However it was closed when we reached there. Finally we decided to go wheellock place. We ended up in Olio where I said the cheesecake damn good. Me and Huiye shared a pizza. We chat a while and Zhengmei came. Soon we got into the topic of
love and how it started between a guy and gal.... haha minghui said he wanna listen and learn... wooo.... Later Qirong came and after chatting abit, we went to a bar that Qirong recommended.... The aircon bar is more 'closed' than the one I went to with Ailing they all last time. So can u imagine when someone smoked, this whole bar would get really suffocating. Me and huiye almost cannot take it. The Korean guy is sweet and understanding so he helped us fanned the air and acted like as if he was fanning becos he's feeling warm. haha...
The topic of conversatoin was at first boring becos it is all abt architecture stuff and the thing that makes it boring not becos it is abt architecture itself but becos the contents inside was very new and I was blur and haf no comments. I can only listen. Qirong saw me and Huiye stoning there so he changed the topic by relating
Architecture with Gender. How male sees architecture differently from gals. And what is the difference between guy and gal etc.
Another thing is tt the menu there has very weird and kinki names for their drinks. Den got one name I dunno what it means so I asked around but they all juz laff and went shy or cover mouth etc... All dunno how to say and explain to me. Even Huiye knows... When I see these expressions, I think something is wrong and I shouldnt know what it means. I feel like a kid in front of them.....
Finally we talked until 11:45pm, no train le. The guys actually still wanna play pool.... but den later they cancelled that plan. Minghui sent me, huiye and the korean guy home. Haha so nice... So I slept in the car. When I woke up, we haf reached the west already. Ahh~~ whenever I sit in a car, I feel very
幸福 . Very comfortable mah~~ ^_^ I reached home at 12:25..... My whole body/clothes smell of smoke.... YUCKS. I bathed and wanted to go online but fell asleep.
This morning(Mon) I woke up at 8 plus... need to go NUH with mum for her checkup. My whole body aching all over. Limbs, back, head, calves....haiz.... never do warm-up before playing yesterday... my carelessness. And gosh!!! SUNBURNT!!!!!!!!! My nose and above my lips were red and painful to touch! I looked like a red nose reindeer. and my lips were
KETCHUP/TOMATO RED!!!!!!!!! dry too..... whole thing abit swollen.... Argh! I got obvious sock lines and sleeves lines already!! I realised my limbs got darker while my face still remain its 'white' colour. OH NO!!! the contrast got BIGGER now!!! Darn.... no hope le.
Anyway at NUH we waited for very long before we get to see Dr Chew.
Now my mum's conditions are that her wounds are not healing.... Cos her eye tissues are not healthy already. So the patch did not stick all around the hole on the eye. Hence at the top, there's this little hole and the liquid from the eye is leaking out. So now doc said the wound need to heal first. If not, the eye will be deflated. If the wound still does not heal and close up after today and tomolo, she may haf to go for a stitching op. Sian.... after hearing this, mum got pretty upset... haiz... it a ley chey thing to undergo any op... So soon we need another checkup this week before xmas.... haiz.......
eh... to tell u the truth i only know how to get to NUS via two ways: someone drive me there, or take a bus from clementi interchange and land up somewhere there near archi or engine area...
and so many things happen when i didn't notice?!?!?! ok... nvm... i'm blur... actually i should have known... as sel said... but well... my bday is really quite long ago??
and ur head and fingers ok or not?? u look quite worn out at breko... oh and have u tried any chinese tonics and stuff for ur mum?? as in try to help her wounds heal type... or juz help 调理 a bit so that her health becomes better?? think every little bit should help bah...
ok... so that means someone drove u there on sunday... otherwise u shldnt know where to find us!! >.<
er, she cant anyhow eat stuff.... she's very strict on her diet now.... even fruits cannot becos she has cough... haiz.... watever i suggest, she'll definitely say something and reject it.
well, all we can do now is make her not to do anything as much as possible.
yar someone drove me there... the bus driver of service 96.... hahahaha and i could find u all cos itz like the dun noe how many times i'm at NUS le... =P
eh... and can try 生鱼汤？ supposed to help wounds heal i think =) dun noe if it'll help much though cos the wound is inside this time...

actually ed's kind of blur... erm, maybe dont sit under the basketball board next time lah...its like standing on top of a building in a thunderstorm - waiting to get struck. maybe u can get a first aid box like xh's in ur back when u play sports next time. and yah must thank u n jov for getting the bday cards again
