Jov's farewell and Yock's bdae~
Ahh~ Last friday many events happened. It was my first paper day as well as a sixoneders outing at night to wish Jovie a bon voyage, and Yock's belated bdae celebration. heehee, the fun thing is alot of jokes and craps going ard. Anyway I shall start from the beginning.
Friday's paper was about the History and Theory of Southeast Asia (SEA) Architecture. And I happened to wear a long skirt... those that looked like sarong..... So my frens were making a joke that I was trying to get into the mood of SEA culture for this paper... haha to fit the atmosphere right.... Some even said it will help them remember the building called Puhsarang Catholic Church done by a Dutch architect in Semerang.... Puhsarang sounds like sarong at the back mah... haha so creative hor, they're so cute.....
anyway, the exam room is cold wat, a long skirt will be cosy~ anyway, for the paper, it is a very tacky one.... cannot remember all the historic periods and dates for the cities and buildings we were to give as examples for some archi theories... die... and one interesting question they gave was a thoery name in MALAY!!!!!!!! what the ..... please lor, as if we know Malay... but becos the name has 3 parts of words, I roughly guessed a theory... and turned out many of us guessed that too.... hmm... hope we are correct....
After the exam, those peopl going to Uni of Malaya, (let me call this as UM thingy), had to stay back for a briefing.... so from 5 to six plus we were briefed and given handouts of event timeline and the stuff we need to do... haiz... so many things to bring... think i haf to use that super duper huge and heavy luggage I had. yea, confirm i leaving on 11th May.... we will go school first for a lecture, and set off from sch immediately... hehe, teacher said they booked the whole floor in a particular hotel for us in Malacca. Then on 22 May we reached KL, we will stay in the sch's hostel. I hope i have internet connection in Malacca as well as in KL... else i can die of boredom, worse still, I cant blog! haahaa...
ok, after tat, I went to orchard to meet up with the rest at 7pm. We couldnt get the Rice Table, so we went to this particular place... I never notice the name... but i think the restaurant is besides a pub/bar. Alot of ang moh inside. Seemed that the restaurant is specially for bdae celebrations..... cos many ppl are celebrating in there. and the thing is all the waiters and waitresses would come crowded ard u, take photos and sing bdae songs with u. haha wat a tradition! Anyway here are some of the photos...
While waiting for the food to come, we gals took some photos~~
this is jo and mei~~ I managed to change some of the hues and lighting in this... but still abit yellowish...

They gave us some bread and muffins first while we waited... quite delicious...

photo of the table setting..

ahhh after our meals.... yock's cake came~

she's cutting the cake...

Finally a family photo! haha

Mei left before the family photo, cos she's to prepare her paper. jov had to leave early too, so some time after yock's bdae singing and opening of presents, we left the place... But still that was abt 10 plus already... Yock's mum gave me a lift to Redhill mrt again~ heehee... jo finally got her lappy fixed, so that night me, jo and sel played Conquer together but jov didnt play much with us... she afk halfway. anyway, at least she get to play... that was until 4 am i think... before she went off... tsk tsk, she muz be damn tired when she's on the plane.
Bon voyage jov!!
