Freedom? Not yet.
haha MIA for quite a few days already... becos many things are happening so didnt have time to post entries. well, will update wat happen these days. And some scanned pictures after this blog, which will highlight wat is it about...
On wed, it is the day of my last paper. After it ended, the students in UM prog had to stay back for a briefing while the others can happily go out and havoc liao. lol~~ anyway from this briefing, I learnt that i
will NOT haf internet in the budget hotel we going to live in. Only the better hotel that teachers will be living in has internet but the price is steep. So I guess i will not be able to have internet, that is, I
cannot blog!!!
until 22th May, den after that we will move to the sch's hostel which has internet. OH MAN! That is torture! But i will record daily happenings and once I get the chance to use internet, den will post...
Hmm, about 2 to 3 days away from the flying off.... yet I haven start packing.... too busy with other things... and somemore I haf to complete the
VSA (some charity association) photojournal book before I fly off. hey that is impossible... this project has stretched for almost a year. Disgusting... haha~~~ Oso I have to go
accompany the malaysia students ard singapore and have some
conservation lectures before we all set off to malacca on 11th May.... so u see, how to have time for everything!??!??
I did some brainstorming of stuff to bring over (we have to bring art stuff and tools oso lor...) ... and I seemed to have endless list... haha becos after a few hours each time, I would suddenly remember one more thing to bring... and it is still happening now. goodness... And I was thinking wat i can bring to occupy me of some nice memories or watever while i am there... photos? no, dun think it suits here... hmm.... cant think of anything .... haiz nvm la~ aiya, only 1 mth, soon will be over.
Hmm the next day after exams, that is saturday, I went temple with mum... I brought along a book to read. This illustrated book was given to me this year as a bdae present from 2 anime frens. Haha, turned out to be some love book? It toks abt missing someone, or loving someone, thinking of someone etc... Well these days been chatting with a fren who has some worries... or we are sharing each other stuff, hearing each other troubles or worries or unhappinese etc... And i think this book seems to fit my fren's situation... and some passages are very moving... some are so touching... the words are simple, illustrations are simple, but they can reach into one's heart. so simple yet enuff to make a reader feels. feel sad; feel familiar; feel touched; etc. I scanned 4 pictures.... The book is titled
"Undo" (copyrighted-pls to not use it for any commercial use. thanks). I posted them after this entry. so later u can scroll down to click on them for larger image.
On friday, me, bren and lav went to accompany the UM students to
Singapore Heritage Centre and
URA centre. I never been to the former one, which is situated in the shophouses near Chinatown Mrt entrance. The exhibitions inside is really nice lor. The olden day items, rooms, furniture etc (and even food!) are placed and done up so realistic in there. really an eye-opener. Even
staircases are purposely made rugged to make us know how last time the ppl had to walk up and down on rough and tattered stairs. Once, I almost slipped... lucky i didnt fall...
Today aka saturday, some 61 frens went for
ktv, which I joined them at very late hour. Mei went off first and left wk, yk, gab, wm and me in the ktv room. After ktv, gab left, and the 4 of us went to ThaiExpress to eat and chitchat. Ahaha, tok alot of funny stuff, and we oso get to share some things... and had lots of laughter too~~ At ard 10 plus, we went back... rather early hor? but good la, can rest more at home.
Now... been backing up data in my laptop and clearing space... 3:41 am... and no one online i can tok to.... sian... 1 mth is enuff to mess up my life schedule... not to say 4 mths or a semester...
Right, need to find time to balance some play, work and shopping for necessary stuff... need to get shoes.... I have none lor... haiz, last minute stuff... ok la, think i going to play abit b4 sleeping. nitez~ (enjoy the scanned pics from the book)

The NUS Architecture Graduation Exhibition- "How does your garden grow?"
I am grateful and honoured that my Thesis Project is selected for this exhibition. Honestly speaking, the process had went through multiple changes, and many horrible late nights, stayovers in the computer studios, having Macs for almost every day towards submission period... Much worse is the physical tiredness, mental tireness and depression and all.... Every bit of progress is difficult, full of obstacles and never a smooth path. I won't be able to pull through without encouragement and help from friends and family. Thank you so much!
Opening Day
Date: Saturday, 13 Jun '09
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Iluma Urban Entertainment Centre
201 Victoria Street Singapore 188067, Level 7 (@Sky garden for the opening ceremony)

My Exhibition Installation @ NUS Museum, UCC - from 7 March to 7 May "Site, Spectator, Situation"
This exhibition project is collaborated among NUS Dept. of Architecture, University Scholar Programme(USP) and NUS Museum for my USP Final Year Project. The opening ceremony and presentation on 6 March was a success! Thanks to Noora (NUS Museum), Lilian Chee (Supervisor from Archi) and the departments for their support and those who turn up and those who visited my installation! :)
My installation is a collage of maps collected during my travels. It is a "Mind" map that existed in my mind based on experiences and memories of places. Hence, it's a cognitive map that is subjective to everyone. Hopefully, this installation will be placed somewhere else later and I'll inform you if it happens. If you drop by UCC, feel free to take a look!
3 other students' works are at NUS Arts Canteen, Kampong Glam and lastly in Museum (level 1).

Kaleidoscope 2007 Exhibition 27-28th Oct 2007
@ Suntec-MY. PLAYGr0und
It was kinda rush as I only had a sunday to colour up the whole thing. Thanks to my anime friend who encouraged me all the way as I felt like giving up halfway several times then. There are other students and studios participating in this exhibition, such as Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS). Many wonderful artworks. Hopefully more NUS ppl take part!!
