Farewells
This is a season of separation and goodbyes....
last last friday me and a number of archi frens went out for Johnny's farewell dinner and drinking session. Actually on the very day, my office also had a farewell gathering for a German lady. She's such a nice person, someone I feel happy and comfortable to tok to.... and now she has to go... *sob* Anyway, for Johnny's farewell, me and elita joined them after we finished whatever we haf to with our colleagues.... so the bunch of them had their dinner at Brewerks already and headed to Clarke Quay. We managed to get 2 of our colleagues to come along too! we spent quite some time choosing and finding a place in a lounge/bar.... i think we settled at Candy bar in the end, with good music!! suitable for dancing hehe. but no, we didnt dance at such a drinking place. We chatted damn long and took alot of photos. By the time i reached home, it's 5 am.... Hence i was too shag to meet other frens the next day.
This week's thurs the sixoneders had a farewell dinner at Bukit Timah for Jovie, who has now left Singapore and arrived happily in Japan for her Masters studies in Business. So envious!! We took a photo at the dinner place, and i will post that on my class blog instead of here la~ After that we went to KAP via Weimin's sch bus (all of us squeeze in his car k!) and continued chatting. But me and Yock went home earlier as I was super tired after doing some craft work on a pendant for Jovie the night before til 4am. My first time doing wire-art which is fitted in such a tiny little book pendant. And then I painted some floral design with gold. I had to use my 20/0 tiny tiny precious brush of mine which I bought in Atlanta College of Fine Arts, but made in Japan. ooo that was super long ago la! but the brush is very new and good as ever ( i seldom use it unless i need to). Bao Bei! hehe... Anyway, here are some photos of the pendant....

For the inside, left side i made some floral patterns and a little alphabet 'J' with wires, and on the other side is painted. so one is 2d, one is 3d..... hehe

So on Sunday, a few of the sixoneders went to airport to send Jovie off.... the place brought back memories and aroused poignant feelings as well as other sort of feelings. Around this time last year I would already be in Sweden... awwww i wanna go travel overseas again!! >.< Everyone is moving on with different paths they choose but I believe when we get back together, time between us will stop and reverse to who we are as defined by one another. We will not be lost whenever we are together :) Cheers to our friendship!! Back to current situation, I think I am struggling to cope with my every-days. There are alot of little things here and there triggering me to feel sad.... Everyday has to end with a slight tinge of sadness. My heart is bleeding bit by bit.... I wonder if my tears will run dry and my heart will stop beating due to the sour pain and sadness. What I can do now is to keep accepting fate, changing my mindset and praying for the rainbow and sun to come out soon.
cheer up!! dark clouds will pass over one~~
Yep. No matter how bad things are, they'll eventually pass.
