My 'First Times' in the past 2-3 days! COOKING!
wah i feel so ACCOMPLISHED!!!
I woke up very late on Sunday cos of the tiredness resulting from the Xmas party cum stayover. So it's time for lunch... suddenly mum asked me to cook an egg for myself. wah cool. Everyone in the house had to cook their own egg. ok.... exciting man. The pan was already hot, and mum poured some oil on it for me. I was horrified at that big pool of oil... Quickly i poured most of it elsewhere. Mum complained that later my egg would be burnt. Heck, I continued. The egg was cracked into the pan and I began to swirl the pan so as to spread out the egg white. I wanted it thin. After the spreading done, I covered the pan and waited for a while. I didn't put the pan properly on the fire, hence more of the oil flowed to one side. When i opened the cover, I found one side had crispy brownish edge but luckily not near any state of burnt, the other side fully white on the top and bottom. So all in all, it is delicious and near PERFECTION!!! Hurray! I succeeded! See! I almost tasted no oil! so healthy! The only thing that is flawed is that the egg yolk was more cooked than I wanted it to be. I wanted it to be fully liquid/near fully liquid inside. ( I'm fussy, am I?)
The next day, which is Monday... (ooo , juz passed). Today, I woke up late again... so immediately lunchtime, no breakfast. I was lazy to go down to the hawker centre to buy takeaway food. Been eating alot of those for the past few weeks. So I decided to eat noodles, but cup noodles used up, so i went for those in packets. Ok, I know this is very embarrassed to say but I never cooked packet noodles, only cup noodles. But then this cooking is easy lar. I boiled some water in the pot, throw the noodles, waited some time and TADA! Noodles were PERFECT! hehe, my 2nd first-time. so happy abt myself. At least now I did some of this cooking stuff in this hols which I was supposed to try last hols in June. Yea happy! So I rewarded myself by watching more animes until 9pm!!! heehee!
