Copenhagen (København) - 16-17th Sept
Haha paiseh, seems abit outdated but hey I'll catch up soon. And yes, this time round will consist of photos of people, including myself inside :) ehehe
When we first arrived, we were greeted warmly by activities around the city. yesh, more ppl! More life! And so... I spotted this building across the road of Radhus (huge open space of the city). Can u spot my NAME!? Yes! MY NAME is up there!! muahaha~ amusing. A shop with such a 'common' name? hmm...

So we started walking along the streets and passed by interesting shops and places... We saw Guinness World of Records! And this tall statue stood at the entrance. Yingyi, Jiajuan and me posed with the statue and you can gauge how tall this guy is...

And we came across this circular garden with pretty flowers and there were panels of photography exhibits surrounding this park, kenna interesting ...

We visited The Royal Palace and took abit of walk around.... It has a garden in front ... and there are huge granite/stone balls on the lawn.... and I was forced under peer pressure to pose beside one of them.... What's with the ball? Ask cw and yh... cause they said I come from Mars (to them i dun behave like an earthling...) and so this is a miniature of my home planet.... and somewhere else we spotted a tree with huge splitting gap that was meant to be my spacecraft.... see cheewee's post on Copenhagen if u wanna see and know what I mean....haiz, think they are juz bored la...

We proceeded to Amalienborg Palace to see changing of the guard ceremony. Everyime The Royal Guard will leave Rosenborg Castle at 11:30pm and reach this palace at noon. Their furry hats are cute... hehe

We started to walk along the sea where the winds were chilly and strong. We saw the Copenhagen Opera House at the other side, yea the one with cantilevered roof in the photo. I would like to go in there to take a look but didnt expect it to be across the sea...

And how can we miss out the statue of Little Mermaid! Yea we walked a long way and finally saw this bronze (or is it brass?) statue. Actually nothing much, but it's one of the major tourist attractions. And everyone would crowd ard the area trying to pose with the Mermaid... hmm... Well, the writer of this story (the original one and not the Disney one k) came from this country mah.

We continued and see this Gefion fountain in front of Skt. Alban church. It features a large-scale group of animal figures being driven by the legenday Norse goddess, Gefyon. It is said to be the largest monument in Copenhagen, and is used as a wishing well, donated to Copenhagen by the Carlsberg Foundation on the occasion of the brewery’s 50 year anniversary.

We went back to the city centre where the shops are and we stood at the entrance of Museum Erotica... If you havent know, this is a s*x museum. I think alot of photos inside showing.... anyway, we didnt go in k... anyway it's expensive to go in.

We went in Louis Tussaude's Wax Museum where it showcases alot of political figures and famous celebrities like The Beatles etc. They also have Disney figures like Snow White and sleeping Beauty. The bottom floor showcases some horror stuff that the guys ended up laughing at them instead ...
Hey I am standing next to Bush and Tony Blaire! Or do I look like one of the wax figures haha~

Another one~ Which one is fake? hehe. The guy sitting on the chair reading the newspaper is pretty realistic from afar and we all didnt realise until one of us looked closely. The only thing that is not so realistic would be the hair.... look too fake le. let's peek into what he's reading...

I love to see buskers around and along the streets and these people got standard one k~ darn pro and almost each of them have their own CD albums! Pro. And I like this new age tribal music (by the red-indian looking ppl) that I mentioned long ago that I felt like being absorbed into a imagery world with clear blue sky set on boundless greenery while doves fly by. It is really nice and I was almost tempted to buy their Cd...

Ok this one is interesting too. This old man dressed in clothings that seemed to have some wires inside so that they could 'stand up' at corners or folded in a way as if they are flying like what u see in this picture. Realistically looking as though some strong winds were blowing against him. He placed a tag on the floor that said "Gone with the Wind".

Another famous tourist attraction - Tvoli Gardens. It is a huge amusement park and garden with roller coasters, arcades etc. We went in at night, paying freaking 75DKK 1-day entrance ticket. We didnt play anything but watched the guys play some jackpot machines and 'horse racing' game. We get to see a performance played out with huge puppets, displaying characters from many fairytales.

Night shots were taken by cw here: This is one of the buildings within the park... beautifully lit up.

One of the huge puppets. Recognise this character? This is the King from The King's New Clothes (did I get the title right?)

Well that's all for Copenhagen~ next will be Germany ones... haha :p
