Cooking Skills Uplvled?
Nah, nothing much actually. Yesterday wanna grill my fish fillet for dinner and I suddenly wanted to change it to fried fish pieces that have a crispy layer of flour after i have prepared all my garlic, onion and ginger.... erm... but still i carry on... and the worse is... i didnt add water or egg to the flour for the fish pieces to dip in.... erm... but watever it is, it turned out good k. So, my first ever crispy grilled (supposed to be fried) fish with my beautiful sunny side up. hehe~~ sweet~

Well after all the grumbles abt boring sweden, maybe I shall say something good abt it:
- low humidity: I simply love this weather... not the coldness of cos... when I first arrive in lund when it is like end of summer, everything is cool and reasonably dry. I like it when i dun feel sticky and sweaty like we always feel back in sg. I feel so clean all the time here.
- food will not go soft even if left open to air after a few days. This feature is really cool! U can leave ur packet of biscuits, chips or cereal open and they remain crispy as ever!!
- No bugs: I think maybe it is during this time of the year when most bugs went to hibernate or migrate, that I dun see any ants or flies etc so far. Not on the streets, not in my room (except one spider that got in when i open my window), not in the kitchen!! No lizards or cockroaches or watever! YESH!!!!! so basically, ur food is always clean even if u left them lying around for a few hours or overnight. No one will come and eat it. No one as in no buggy bugs. Imagine no need to yell at cockroaches or shooing away lizards, nor do u need to be weary of flies or getting bites by mosquitoes. Really! I LOVE IT!
- Reduced tension of using water: Here, there's plenty of water. Unlike back at home, ur parents will scream at you for using water too much. Well we can peacefully use water to our pleasure. Hmpf, that means can bathe longer~~ SHLD bathe longer, haha~~~~ aww too bad they dun have bath tub. anyway i dun have much leisure time to soak myself in bath tub anyway.
- Electricity: Well, I aint sure how costly is their electricity charges but wat i know is, we paid a big sum of money for our hostels that include water and electricity. If u see in the the selfish way, you can say that we can use electricity as much as we want!! muahaha. nah i aint that evil. But at least I dun feel the pressure when I forgot to off lights when I accidentally doze off etc. This is another good good feature for me.
- environment friendly. well, the ppl here recycle stuff regardless if they get back money for them ornot. this is very motivating! haiz... when will singaporeans learn? generally most of us cant be bothered abt recycling. Anyway, i know my corridor mates are very organised at this. and they have compartments or bin specially for different materials. And end of each week, the person at duty will recycle them at the garage downstairs. I of cos became more environmentally friendly due to their influence and i feel really good. And it is becoming a habit. For plastic bottles and glass bottles, if u recycle at Willy's (my nearest departmental store), you can get some money per bottle! Great motivation oso eh~
- hmm dunno if it is legal to say this but here the regulations against downloading stuff is nil? or so lax that they dun care abt it. so u get wat i mean rite? yea, u can fill ur days watching movies and listening to music to ur pleasure...
- hmm wat else.... i can only think of these 7 points at the moment.
haiz i miss the bright white lightings.... here in these hostel rooms are all dim and orange... too good for making u doze off and sleep... Last few days when I was trying to draw my plans, my eyes were tearing like hell... cant see properly lor... haiz....
ok, back to work~~ or maybe resting and lazing ard abit. hehe~
